About
Forgot is a short anomaly hunting horror game. You play as a boy who is imprisoned at home with his grandparents. But is this really your home and are you sure those are your grandparents?
You want to leave, but no exit leads to the outside. The rooms are looping endlessly and time seems to be standing still. It is midnight and "grandmother" won't let you leave before the morning. She keeps feeding you cake and sends you back to your room.
Sometimes your surroundings change and sometimes they stay the same... Look out for anomalies and make a decision:
Are there anomalies at home?
The cake is poisoned, do NOT eat it and leave immediately!
Does everything look normal?
The cake is safe and delicious, make sure to eat it on your way out!
Only if you make 12 correct decisions in a row, the morning will come and the path to freedom will open.
Playtime: 15 - 60 minutes

No me gustan mucho los juegos de anomalías. Este sí. Divertido, fácil de llevar y con sustitos suaves que se disfrutan. Recomendado para reírte y sufrir lo justo.
Forgot is a good anomaly game. It captures the creepy atmosphere of being in an old American household with a grandfather and grandmother who are possessed and evil. The anomalies are solid (33 in total), with some being better than others. The most interesting one, in my opinion, is the Backrooms anomaly. However, I do think it was prolonged and should have been a little less tedious. The random chase sequence was also pointless and wasn't scary. The only frightening part was the jumpscare when the grandmother suddenly appears in the wheelchair, though that was kind of expected. I eventually realized that all you had to do was jump on the pipes and then onto the boxes to the left, which is a little dumb. What's even worse is the door-guessing loop, where you have to restart if you get even one door wrong. Thankfully, there aren't too many doors to remember in a row, and it's not that difficult. Even so, that section ends up not taking as long as everything before altogether. Are some of the anomalies subtle? Not really. At first, you aren't keeping track of as many things as you will later on, but as you learn the game, it becomes easier to spot anomalies. It's not too obnoxious, though—only for a short while before you figure out all the objects and areas you need to check. Game time & pricing: It took me around 100 minutes to reach 100% completion, and the game cost about $5. I can't complain. I don't mind supporting the developers, and the experience is about what you'd expect for the price. Overall, there's not much to discuss. It's simply a solid anomaly game. The only improvement I'd suggest would be adding more content for the price, but I doubt that will happen. Regardless, it's not a waste of money. In my opinion, this is a cool project that I'm glad exists. Buy it if you're a fan of the genre and don't mind purchasing a game that you'll likely beat in about an hour and probably never play again. 5/10

Great use of $4. I am a fan of the "spot the anomaly" genre and this is a great example.
buen juego barato, corto, divertido y buen final en resumen no seas rata y difrutalo
A must buy anomaly game with lots of surprises and absolute hidden gem. Take every opportunity to explore every direction. Worth every penny, and some!!!
Short and good fun with the scares actually being a bit creepy at times and not cheap jump scares with the exception of one which is the maximum amount of jump scares any horror game should have. There's actually a mini story that explains why things get so jumbled up at times and is actually a sort of sweet awareness message. The gameplay itself is fine and the loop of being able to spot the difference in the room isn't too hard and there are actually a decent amount of changes to keep the loop from getting boring if you go through a reset from getting it wrong once. In addition, there is an
extra location inspired by The Backrooms which deviates from the main game but is still fun to explore due to the shift in gameplay from "find the anomaly" to adventure/escape room for a short bit.
The conversion from looking at rooms through cameras to first-person exploration is nice for a game of this type as well. Overall, the game isn't too long and is good for at least one playthrough if you like these type of games.
Pay close attention to all details! Unsettling puzzle horror game. Definitely worth a playthrough.
I don't often write reviews for games but this one I felt was needed. Possible spoilers ahead so proceed with warned caution. First, I saw this game on a FB reel being played by someone and it looked interesting. I'm not really one for horror games in which I am not able to actually do much more than run. I mean, let me blast those supernatural creepies. But I figured for the reasonably low price and the fact it was an hour or two of play time, time of which I had some to kill, it was worth it. And boy, was it worth it. It had some decent scare moments and plenty of "oh heck, nope nope nope!" moments. But it kept me engaged and interested in seeing what happened next. This is where the spoilers might come in as I discuss the ending. So if you don't want it spoiled, read no further. As you play, you come to realize there is a story here. Once you get to the ending and explore the ending area, you understand the story and realize how sad and real it actually is. I watched my grandmother slowly succumb to dementia and eventually Alzheimer's. It was not something I would wish anyone to witness, let alone go through themselves. I can imagine that something similar to this is exactly what was going on in her head on a daily basis. So yeah, this game hit home a little harder than most others. So, to the devs, well done on a small and enjoyable "horror" game with a bit of a sad, but relatable good ending.
A short and catchy game based on Exit 8 but with much more detail since it takes place in a house. I was still a bit disappointed, though, because I saw a lot of funny clips on Twitch streams when there aren't actually that many in the game. For those struggling to beat it, I'm planning to make a guide.
