This game feels extremely rough. The tutorial is a wall of text and still fails to explain things properly. Everything feels clunky, unfinished, and badly put together. I honestly do not understand the positive reviews. Either I played a completely different game or something is very off here. I cannot recommend it.
The UI is absolute garbage, and nothing regarding the UI has changed in years. Im not sure when, but vehicle control has become absolute garbage. You used to be able to let go of the accelerate button and the vehicles would coast, but not they come to a stop fairly quickly unless you're holding accelerate. Gameplay is buggy and kind of a mess. This game is nowhere near in sight of being complete. It should be in an early access status, but i dont believe it it. There are better games. Firefighter sim ignite, Flashing lights, etc. Go spend your money there. The fact that there is paid DLC for this cluster ♥♥♥♥ of a game is disgusting. The devs need to fix, complete, and polish their game before even considering asking for money for ♥♥♥♥ that should be implemented into the game for free.
Into the Flames is one of those games that's easy to sit down with and lose a couple of hours in without realizing it. At its core, it's a semi-realistic firefighter simulator where you respond to emergencies, put out fires, rescue civilians, and try to keep situations from getting worse. It doesn't try to overwhelm you with overly complex mechanics, which makes it approachable whether you're playing solo or jumping in with friends. There's something satisfying about rolling up to a scene, grabbing your gear, and getting to work while everything around you is falling apart. What I enjoyed most was getting to play the hero. Firefighters don't get nearly as much attention in gaming as police or military settings, so it was refreshing to play something focused on a different kind of emergency response. The game isn't perfect—some missions can start to feel familiar after a while, and it isn't the deepest simulator out there—but I don't think it's trying to be. It's a fun firefighting sandbox that delivers exactly what it promises, and sometimes that's all a simulator needs to do. —The Ember Archives https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45601239/
Janky and low budget. would not recommend unless you are REALLY into SIM type games AND firefighting.
I really enjoy the concept of the game, and I really want to like it.. but it's just too buggy and isn't polished. It needs alot of work, It does feel like a beta or early access title and I'm disappointed. I hope for a rework or a remaster.
game is a bit buggy but not terrible would be nice to have a open voice chat so players could coordinate better
Pretty good firefighting game if you want an extremely realistic firefighting game. Graphics are definitely on the down side, but better than some other games. Medical system is definitely one of the best I've seen between games. Overall good
the devs never fix anything
This game sucks I played the tutorial and the controls to switch between items is very stupid. You have to run back and forward from the truck to the situation. The games AI dont help and do their own things.
It is fun
