BANANA
The game is short don't get me wrong and I would absolutely adore some sort of successor, but for what is here it is absolutely golden! HIGHLY recommend even more so if it is on sale!
The games main mechanics work against its goals. -Aim splitting: Cool, but more importantly it will not do headshots. When the goal is to kill enemies before they kill you, you would rather kill 1 dude quickly 2 times, instead of one dude slowly and another dude kinda quick. For your survival the best way to tackle situations is to just use it as a bad dual wield instead of a way to tackle multiple enemies at once. -Rolling: The single reason you want to roll is to go under obstacles. While rolling you can't attack, so you are basicly a defenseless target. If you see a bullet go towards your head, you should not roll, you should dodge, and wait for your turn to play the game (shooting while dodging is very imprecise. and horrible for single target.). another problem is how the game forces you to roll in some wall kick situations. -Corpses: Corpses block bullets. If 2 enemies are in a row. you will have to kill one, and then wait to be able to kill the other. If the game removed the above, it would actually be better. The dodge (spinning around) also allows you to shoot. this also splits the damage, and stops you from getting headshots. Stylish and quick games can work, but when there is so much waiting for your turn. I want my movement and defensive options to further my goals of killing and going fast. Not stall till i can actually do damage. And as others have mentioned. enemies are bullet sponges and movement is clunky, even if you dissregard rolling.
Pretty short, especially if you don't care really about doing the levels on max score, so I would say to get this on sale. Gameplay is very good though, pretty cool game. Music is banger, story is whatever. Encountered a massive bug but it didn't break the level at least :D
