after finishing mortal shell i cant say i love it though i find it to be super intersting with great ideas such as the shells and a cool ass world and design but as for overall gameplay i gotta be honest and just say i personally dont like it too much the combat feels floaty and clunky the world design despite being cool ends up being mildy annoying through things like having a ♥♥♥♥ ton of a traps all that being said i can see the vision and when the game hits it does it well so ill leave this as a positive review + after playing the demo for mortal shell 2 this feels like the tech demo for that game
It's alright, lacks a lot of the quality of life from games that are similar but it has some unique mechanics.
I gave this game a second chance and finally finished it but didn't enjoy much. The visuals are pretty cool, but the gameplay feels clunky. I kept hoping it would click but it never did. It's just not a fun souls game.
I finally completed 100% of Mortal Shell today and mastered everything the game has to offer. After roughly 60 hours of playtime, including earning the notoriously difficult "Forever Alone" achievement (a no-hit run through the entire game) and the challenging "No Lifer" achievement, I feel confident saying that I truly understand the game's mechanics. I often see people complaining that Mortal Shell is unfairly punishing or overly difficult. To be fair, I felt the same way when I first started. However, once I adapted to its unique combat system and got over the steep learning curve, everything clicked. As soon as you understand the mechanics, the game becomes dramatically easier. After completing at least seven runs in The Virtuous Cycle, you'll eventually know Fallgrim and each of the boss temples, including the Seat of Infinity like the back of your hand. On the other hand, I also see people claiming that the game is too easy. If you're only talking about the base game and ignoring the achievements, I'd actually agree. It isn't particularly difficult. But try completing the "Forever Alone" no-hit run. That's an entirely different challenge, and only a small percentage of players will ever manage to pull it off. The game certainly has its flaws, but its art style, atmosphere, visuals, combat, and overall concept are genuinely excellent. Despite its imperfections, Mortal Shell has a unique identity that sets it apart from other Soulslikes. If the developers build on what they've learned from the first game, I have every reason to believe that Mortal Shell 2 will be an outstanding sequel.
очень не плохая задумка,мне такие игры нравится, временами по сражаться временами подумать,игра похожая на Lords of the Fallen,как будто один человек делал и там и там хорошая идея игры но игра не закончена ,есть баги,не критичные но и не приятные
Usually I am the guy who wants things to slow down, this is boringly, repetitively, slow. Final boss is the most stupid unworthy design I have seen. Only positive is I learn how to battle with very little health or very little stamina. Dont see myself in NG of any meassure.
Если тебе не хватило болот и сырых ям бабадзаки, получай целую игру, состоящую из них
Очень деревянный сосалик. Очень скучный и однообразный, с неотзывчивой боёвкой.
Great souls like game i really enjoyed it. Cant wait to Mortal Shell 2 !!!!
Decent enough game, as janky as it is, it's still very enjoyable. Definitelly worth playing.
