Moroi

Amazing hack n slash adventure style puzzle game that is oozing with its own art style. The combat is solid and a lot of fun once you get the hang of it and reminds me of other fast paced top down perspective titles like RUINER or Hatred and even Hotline Miami Series. Then you have this mind trip of a story that unravels before you as you explore and there is plenty of things to miss but essentially will be discovering new locations and backtracking to solve puzzles/challenges etc. all while clearing out a variety of enemies along the way. The art style is superb and really gives it a unique feel along with the characters you will meet and face. Moroi can be played with either mouse or controller but playing with mouse felt smooth as it was easy to hit enemies from all directions while keeping on the move. The cherry on top is the soundtrack that goes along with it and the game just presents itself in such an awesome way it is easy to recommend if you want a solid isometric hack and slack with a dark world to engross you in. <3

Dziwne jest to narzekanie. Gra jest solidnym średniakiem. Czasem się długo ładują poziomy, ale ma ciekawy klimat. Połączenie gry zręcznościowej, przygodówki, zagadek, baśni. Warto zagrać, może na promce.

Some interesting weird characters but the combat system is just plainly gross, and the controls unbearable. Is just unplayable to me.

Great game if you like twisted and weird stories. Two best things about this game is story and level and characters design. Not sure if it's just for me but sometimes like bossfights there were no soundtrack (but weapon and enemy sounds were present). It feels it's indie game not fully polished, there are some typos and combat isn't especially deep. But if you want to experience something fresh and unusual, it's the game for you:))

Moroi wants to be a dark fantasy, hack-and-slash, Souls-like, Metroidvania-esque puzzle game all at once. Because Moroi tries to do so many different things, it consequently doesn’t do any of those things well at all. It's also really janky and full of bugs, gratuitous gore, and very dark humor. tres mal optimisé et bug souvent, gameplay standard la musique est bien les dialogue bien comique faut peaufinée votre jeu et y'a moyen qu'il sois bien mieux noté. je peut pas vraiment le recommander si part la suite les maj améliore tout ses petit default la oui je recommanderait le jeu !

I really keep trying to give this game a chance, because i really like the concept, the art, the story and the characters. but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does the combat really piss me off! I'm just playing through to get to the end at this point. I'll return to this review after I've finished the game with some feedback.
