Apparently I missed the memo that this game was actually released and now it's completely dead on arrival. Kinda sad, I thought it had a lot of promise.
most fun dead game ever
more people should have known about this game. it barely has players live anymore. if you like warhammer, be it playing or painting. i suggest you buy it for you and your friends
Sad to see the multiplayer die, but that's what happens when you don't develop more factions, mechanics, and units at a decent pace.. Definitely was promising at one point. Painting sim part of it is spectacular, and the in game lore dumps you can listen to were pretty cool. Would like to have seen more updates these last 2 years still. I bet there's a discord community or two you'd be able to find games on still if they did. Shouldn't be too bad when it's a $30 game to keep updating it.
got it for free, the roguelike solo mode is fun but gets very boring. dead multiplayer makes no point for getting into here
One of the only games out there where you can paint all of your own miniatures and then use them in the game. you unlock new colors to use on them to and not in a battlepass or anything like that..just by playing the game... can you imagine! cool world created by Brain Sanderson and the game itself is fun. Honestly worth it for the miniature painting alone.
Painting simulator disguised as tabletop game lick/10
Solid game that I was looking forward to turned in to abandonware. 0 opponents to matchmake with. 0 updates.
Fun and with gorgeous visuals.
This game had so much potential to be a hit and they completely fumbled it. The gameplay was fantastic. The world was built upon lore written by the none other than Brandon Sanderson. Essentially no compeition out there for a game like this because there really hadn't been anything quite like it. But leading up to launch, there was practically no marketing and that just continued post launch. Within days of launching, the sub-Reddit had essentially been relegated to posts from people showing off their miniature paint jobs. Little to no discussion about the game itself and gameplay strategy. As a prospective player, you would have been forgiven for thinking this game was just a miniatures painting sim. In hindsight, I think they kind of shot themselves in the foot including this element. I get what they were going for, trying to target fans of real-world miniatures, but in the end all it did was attract the kind of folk who just enjoy the painting aspect, and have no interest in actually playing. Had they just stuck to usual model of unlockable skins for miniatures, and put all their time and effort into the actual gameplay elements, perhaps this game would be more popular. Personally, I think this game had so much potential to be a huge e-sports title but I guess we'll never know now. Such a waste, and so dissapointing. I was so hype for this game when they first announced it.
