It's a decent VERY SHORT precision platformer with unorthodox movement. I finished it in under an hour. For a short cheap experience, it doesn't overstay its welcome and is quite fun. For some reason the dev used the word "metroidvania" to describe their game, which is false advertising: the game is entirely linear.
I've played 25 minutes I've got no idea what's going on. I'm pressing buttons BAYBEE!!!! This game is already so incredibly dense, I love the enviroments I love how unassuming any interaction looks until you're already right on top of it and grasping for the correct input. Luckily I got used to it pretty quick and even in these 25 minutes I am already experiencing the difference between getting by and flying past obstacles. This is a game where you lock the ♥♥♥♥ in, and when you do. It's a beauty of a platformer. I've now finished Momentum, short and sweet. and for 4 euros it gets to be. I can understand the desire from other reviewers to see it rack up the challenge a little more near the end but honestly it's perfectly fine the way it is. And to be fair, as someone with 390 games in my wishlist and nearly 30 games i'm actively playing right now. I like a game I can play enjoy and finish.

really short but unique and interesting little game. please don't let the description of "metroidvania-rage-puzzle-platformer-pinball-like" dissuade you from playing it.
I have no idea why a few knuckleheads are saying that this overstays its welcome. It is just about the right length. Pretty good metroidvania with a unique style of gameplay.
Very fun! Excellent little platformer based around gravity and momentum. Each ability is mapped to a different button on the controller and it gives the jumping a very rhythmic feel in action. Not too difficult given how heavy the block you roll around as is, but it does sometimes make some jumps a bit tricky due to how you'll sometimes end up slightly off the mark for the next part of the sequence. I like how intricate the space is and how frequently you see rooms you've been through previously. The circuitous path you're taken on is fun to watch unfold. Lot of moments of "oh, that's how I get there!" as you finally reach a spot you saw a ways back.
I don't write a lot of reviews. That should already tell you something right there. This is a perfect game in the sense that it did exactly what it wanted to. Innovative mechanics, good controls, amazing atmosphere, and it feels GOOD when you get the hang of stuff and start cruising. Is it short? Yeah? It's the best length for what its trying to do. I'm not comparing it to these games, but I think people who enjoyed Öoo or 140 will also love this. Freaking job well done, Jakob. You sure can make a good game.
really short but very fun little abstract precision platformer that makes incredible use of its visual design as far as indicating exactly what buttons need to be pressed at all times but never feeling like a series of QTEs. incredible vibes
Very beautifully designed game both visually and in terms of mechanics. Not very hard but at the same time very rewarding. Extremely short (~1 hour), but it's definitely a game I'll play every couple months.
A fun short 2d platformer
