Monstrum takes the traditional survival horror formula and remixes it completely with procedurally generated levels, permadeath, and AI driven predators, ensuring that nowhere on its derelict cargo ship is ever truly safe.

excellent short horror game, never really loses it's charm in my opinion. play sessions should last 30-60 minutes assuming you dont die early.
By today's standards, over a decade ahead, this is quite... A rough looking game on the surface. Impressive graphics, janky animations, imperfect AI. And yet it's still so, so great. This game has simply dominated the way in which roguelike elements can create tension and uncertainty, play a linear horror game enough and you'll be certain of what to expect in a certain moment, which is the biggest way to kill terror to simply give you control. And yet here we have Monstrum where you simply can't ever quite start a new run expecting to even know what you're going to be facing, let alone where you need to go and deal with. All of that creates simply a fantastic experience all around full of tension and a pretty wide exploration journey through the silent halls of the Hisa Maru.
не игра а ПИК, вторая часть говно.
My favorite old horror game. I recommend giving it a shot.
