Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 52.86/day in the week to Sep 7 → 64.29/day in the week after.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

It's truly an amazing game
Monster Hunter: World is an incredible game where you track gigantic monsters across beautiful environments, craft increasingly ridiculous equipment from their corpses, and then immediately go back out to beat up their relatives. The monsters themselves are incredible. They're beautiful, terrifying and completely committed to ruining your afternoon. You can spend 20 minutes carefully preparing for a hunt, checking your equipment, eating the right meal, stocking supplies, mentally preparing yourself for battle only for the monster to run away and make you chase it across half the map like we’re late for a parole hearing. And then there’s Anjanath. I hate Anjanath. Every time I see that oversized angry chicken on the map, I already know how this is going to go. I’ll be happily hunting something else, minding my own business, and suddenly ANJANATH appears like he has a personal appointment with my corpse. Meanwhile, my weapon should come with an advanced picture-book manual, crayons, and a university degree. I’ll learn the combos, think “Okay, I’ve got this,” and then forget every single button approximately four seconds later. At that point, I revert to my natural combat technique: BUTTON MASHING. Just absolutely hammering the controller like it’s an Atari 2600 and I have personally discovered video games for the first time. I will happily wear objectively terrible armour because it looks awesome, and then upgrade the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of it because I believe in the ancient Hunter’s Law: RULE OF COOL Unfortunately, monsters do not respect this law. So there I am, wearing my beautifully upgraded garbage-tier fashion armour, button-mashing like a caffeinated toddler, desperately trying to remember which button does what while Anjanath is once again charging across the map specifically to smear my body across the continent. Monster Hunter: World has somehow turned me into a hunter whose greatest weapon is fashion, optimism, and complete mechanical incompetence. My tiny cat companion has better equipment, more useful abilities and considerably more emotional stability than I do.

Latest in each market: best BR #48, worst AU #93 · 8 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 65/day in the week to Jul 21 → 63.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
