Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.43/day in the week to Aug 27 → 20/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ninguém me obrigou. O sistema Nêmesis é a maior virtude do jogo. Recomece. A lugar nenhum. A conquista existe. E, no entanto, derrotaram-me.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
📢 Verdict: GRAB
TLDR: A fun stealth-action game set in the LOTR universe. The main catch is the patented Nemesis system, which easily overcomes the somewhat clunky camera and controls.

🔄 The Loop: The Nemesis system is absolute genius. It genuinely feels like you are waging a guerrilla war against a massive adversary. Gathering intelligence on your targets, such as learning target strengths and weaknesses, and manipulating rivalries makes planning your strikes deeply satisfying, especially once wraith skills let you turn enemies to your side. Combat is fluid and fun; it isn't overly difficult, but chaining combos, stuns, and finishers feels great.
🎨 The Vibe: Visually, the game holds up remarkably well given its age, especially if you enable the free ultra HD textures DLC. The Lord of the Rings atmosphere is solid throughout, and Gollum has his classic, wonderfully punchable personality, which I definitely count as a thematic win. Audio also holds up, with an immersive soundtrack that just screams LOTR.
⚙️ The Friction: The default field of view and movement controls can feel awkward initially. It almost ruined the first hour or two for me, until the flow clicked. There are also a few dated quicktime events scattered around, but they aren't overly bothersome. Menus are straightforward and easy to navigate, without much clutter. The only annoying bit was how gathering collectibles or completing events would automatically open menus, but I can let that go.
🌐 The Ecosystem: It is a massive shame that the Nemesis system is patented now, as more games desperately need a mechanic like this. The only other series that comes to mind with a similar mechanic was Mercenaries, but that's even more dated now. Still, as a complete singleplayer package with HD upgrades, it remains a fantastic experience that holds up years later.
If you love fighting games with combos this game is for you.
Absoluter banger!
8/10 I don't think I have watched a single lord of the rings movie till the end but I still enjoyed this game so much that I was binging it 4-6hours a day, only complaint I have is that it's too easy, I died maybe 3 times throughout the entire game, and it kind of makes the nemesis system underwhelming because captains and warchiefs get replaced, changed, promoted, betrayed only when you die or progress the story enough, though towards the end you get to command them and choose who gets promoted and so on.
