muy inmersivo! una pasada

i'd be lying if i said tomatoes were a meat.
It's a nice game. Like the inventory management, gunplay. Level visuals/light setup are good too. Story/character lines are ok, but will hardly impress anyone. It has glitches here and there, but nothing critical. I had one annoying one with nosalis roughness map/shader that made them shine too bright. Overall i've enjoyed it.
I give the game 6/10. It stays pretty consistent with the feel of the other Metro games, but it's strictly underground. The game doens't add anything new to the VR space, and some controls feels a bit clunky - especially when trying to pick up items from the ground. Seated mode is always a welcome addition and worked well otherwise. Graphics looked okay, but the gunplay and enemy AI had a bit more to desire. I did enjoy the reloading of some weapons, like the scrambler and crossbow which felt very immersive. The areas also start feeling pretty repetitive halfway through the game. Overall, not a bad game. If you enjoy the Metro series and want to get a better idea of Khan, play it for the story - but don't expect anything amazing.
I didn't expect it to be possible to make a full-fledged METRO game for VR, but they absolutely pulled it off. The story, the controls, the graphics - everything just works. The biggest surprise in Metro Awakening is actually the controls. They're incredibly intuitive, and as you progress through the game, they become second nature thanks to muscle memory. After a while, you instinctively reach into your backpack without even thinking about where everything is. Reloading your weapon in the middle of a firefight? No problem - you just need a bit of practice. If you have the chance to experience it, I highly recommend it. Metro Awakening proves that VR games don't have to be "party games" you play once a year. They can absolutely deliver a compelling, story-driven experience.
