If this was early release I would have probably been ok with it. But it's really rough, I wouldn't really compare it to Arizona or anything else. Needs more time in the oven. Has a cool idea with upgrades. My specs: i9 9900k 32GB RAM 1TB M2 5080 GPU Quest 3 (wifi)
This is very rough looking for a full release game. The graphics are incredibly flat and uneventful. Why are there so many damn doors and drawers with handles if I can't interact with them at all? After a couple rooms I realized if I saw handles it didn't mean I could interact with them. Not to mention spots where if I was actually there I would be able to crawl through them no problem. The devs don't seem to realize the point of VR is to simulate reality. If you put a hole in the bottom of a fence I better be able to get on my stomach and crawl through. Or if a few loose planks are hindering my path from walking straight through but there's a huge gap that anyone could crouch under I better be able to locomote myself through! Not have to go put a stupid upgrade on a knife to be able to pull the boards off. Many glaring issues on the immersion front. Also, for some reason my left hand kept getting stuck places for a couple seconds. Aiming does not seem to be great. I've played a large range of shooter VR games and I am able to hit things far away fine. I was struggling to hit things in my face with the barrel clearly pointed at the face. They clearly wanted to be Arizona Sunshine but fell so far from the mark. One of the first "hordes" you encounter felt straight out of Arizona Sunshine but with the boring flat gray textures around and subpar aiming it left a sour taste. It shows it was made by only two people. With the simplistic level design and poor sound design. (would sound like a zombie was right behind me when they were down a hall out a door in an outside area) simple looking graphics I would not get this unless it was on a sale. Which I did, but I doubt I will complete this game. I'd rather play something with good gunplay and is interesting to look at. I look for immersion in my VR games and this did not come close.
Solid game!!!! everything looks amazing. A 2 person team made this. This is better than 85% of all story vr games. Buy it. you will not be disappointed.
It's a bit like an Ali Express version of Arizona Sunshine. And quite buggy controls with the weapons and especially the climbing. Few times when there was a wave of zombies i died because of the very janky controls like you couldn't put the clip in to reload, or you inserted the clip and you wanted to load the gun but then it switched hands, or you lost the gun completely etc. That really gave me a soft one. Also the aim was way off. How many times i shot a zombie in the head from like 50cm away and it missed lol. With all that in mind i still had 4 hours of fun with it, but it's not something i will play ever again now i finished it.
Little Janky but fun B Zombie Campaign. No Bugs or crashes.
Very Good Vr game for 2 ppl dev team
As a survival horror fan, I really enjoyed this game. It's one of the most fun campaigns I've ever played in VR. What stood out to me was how the game rewards exploration, with hidden items cleverly tucked away in unexpected places. As I progressed, I found myself checking every corner and crate, and it felt truly satisfying to discover those well-hidden items. The pacing is great, with a solid rhythm and some genuinely tense moments. I definitely recommend this game.
Better than a lot of the AI slop out there. I definitely enjoyed it and would recommend it for anyone looking to get more out of their VR headset experience.
