"I'm afraid it's been... nine years."
METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN has been a great experience for me. First thoughts were that the game would absolutely be a blast, and, while it blew the roof out of my expectation's house, the game is quite quirky with its bosses. This game is basically just another MGS except with better stealth mechanics and insanely weird (yet great at the same time!).

Campaign
Haven't completely finished the campaign yet, so I'll follow up on that by editing this review when I finish the story, but this campaign is absolutely great. I love silently taking down my enemies because it's just the best thing to do with them (kicking them and pointing a gun at them as they wake up so they surrender, just to Fulton extract them)! It's also very sandbox-like but not quite, as the fighting area is incredibly massive.

Graphics & Mechanics
The graphics are just like any other AAA game, I don't really know what you'd expect. The stealth mechanics, however, are on another level entirely, as camos work great to hide yourself and blend in with the environment, while shadows literally give you away. This game will keep you on your toes, and if that's what you like, then I heavily recommend playing this.

Can't forget the memetic engineering!
This game is just ripe for memes, as, with the new Duran Duran soundtrack, anyone can make banger edits of Snake and other characters. This game has so much potential, and Konami decided to put it to waste by firing Kojima while he worked on the game.

Conclusion
I think this game will definitely be great for you to play. Might be a little expensive for some of you, but you can always just wait for a sale so it goes a little cheaper. Overall, this game is completely one of the best games I've ever played in my life, and I'd put it next to the Half-Life series. See ya!

Сюжет в этой части хорош что и геймплей, но если вы не играли в MGS 3, Peace walker и Ground Zeroes вы просто ничего не поймете когда будете играть в эту часть
(Invisible) (Invisible) (Invisible) (Invisible) (Shy one) Walking by the wall (Shy one) The shadows will not fall (Shy one) Is silently ignored (Quiet one) Discouraged by the noise (Quiet one) Living without choice (Quiet one) Is a life without a voice When you can't even say my name Has the memory gone? Are you feeling numb? Go and call my name I can't play this game, so I ask again Will you say my name? Has the memory gone? Are you feeling numb? Or have I become invisible? (Sky light) That dreamers wish away (Hindsight) Is falling on my face (Highlights) The shape of my disgrace When you don't hear a word I say As the talking goes, it's a one-way flow No fault, no blame Has the memory gone? Are you feeling numb? And have I become invisible? (Invisible) (Invisible) (Invisible) (Invisible) (Invisible) (Invisible) (Invisible) (Invisible) (Invisible) And no one hears a word they say Has the memory gone? Are you feeling numb? Not a word they say But a voiceless crowd isn't backing down When the air turns red With their loaded hesitation Can you say my name? Has the memory gone? Are you feeling numb? Have we all become invisible?

Definitely one of the best stealth games I have ever played. I love the fact that there are so many ways to approach missions, which gives it a ton of replayability, whether it's going in completely stealthy or loud and destroying everyone, haha. Say what you want about the story, but I personally enjoyed it. I mean, obviously I would've liked it if it had more missions and stuff to do, but I think they did really well with the time they had, and I think the gameplay makes up for a lot of it, in my opinion. It's crazy to me how good this game is, and it isn't even finished. An absolute masterpiece.
