Reviews
Okay, so I'm not going to hold back. This is not my typical style of game, so let that help you understand the bias my review her has. I saw someone play this on Youtube and thought it looked fun but maybe a bit harsh. The maybe was an understatement. This game looks like it probably has a lot of potential, but here's my issue. I'm 45ish minutes in, and no matter what I do, i can barely ever afford to buy anything. You start slow, you have barely any life compared to the damage you'll take, your dash cooldown is short and the distance it dashes is short, your pickup distance is okay, but what you're picking up barely ever means anything. The early rounds when you should be farming up money for upgrades don't last long enough; short rounds mean more shop trips but most of those are entirely wasted because you're poor. And you stay that way. That video above? You're not going to see 95000 squares. You're going to have 18, or 32, or maybe if you save up you'll get over 100. That means maybe if you're good and you get lucky rolls on your level ups you'll be able to be an orbital on the wave you die. There's very little forgiveness, especially early on, and the upgrade path? May as well not exist for how likely you'll be able to afford it. You can lean into crit builds with lucky level up rolls to health and level on crit; doesn't help enough. You can try luck to get more coins on pickups. Maybe that helps, but not enough. HP? Nope. movement speed? Nope. Most things don't affect your damage much; the biggest being something that just adds 1 damage to your orbitals and drones (drones being the basic guns you start with and directly control). Just buying another drone slot is 200! I've never obtained 200. Progression? That requires triangles. I've yet to see one. So, maybe I'm just bad at this game. Fair assessment. But I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get better before I could refund this, and I've a sneaking suspicion that no matter what I do I'll never enjoy this, because it's needlessly brutal and cheap early on. The enemies aren't a big deal; there're just too far away for you to farm them at all to grow early, and too many and hard to kill shortly after and your only real upgrades are from leveling, because you will NOT have enough coins to buy anything. Honestly? I'd give this a pass. I like the theme, I think it has potential, but the early game is stupidly hard for no discernible reason, and all those available choices you have? You're not going to get to make any of them because you can't afford anything. Because the early stages are too short on a timer and you can't farm for coins or xp. Nothing stays between waves, so if you don't pickup those coins from long range kills, and you won't, they may as well not exist. Some enemies won't drop coins anyway. If you don't spend anything you might have 100 coins by wave 4, and maybe you can buy an orbital, and it won't help you enough. Save your money; this game needs a lot of work.

in the first 4 rounds its hard you dont know how to handle this, but its not a challenge when you figured out how it works. i dont need a single upgrade from the mainmenu to beat the 20 levels.... and got in 96 min 9 from 12 achievements. - you cant sell your "orbitals" dont know why - no meta progression - i see no reason to play again after run complete without any upgrade from mainmenu
The game has some interesting mechanics as a VS like with access to stores in between waves, and the ability to swap mech parts. Animations are ok, and sound effects are satisfying. However, the game seriously lacks contents with only one map and same enemy waves. There is no difficulty selection as well, so the meta progression simply makes the game easier, and the game is beatable without any upgrades. With this price, I cannot recommend this game.
I've played for a few hours at this point. The game has potential to be a good survival game as its still early in the release. The Good: 1. Looks like the developer has put some thought into making a more futuristic survival bullet hell type game. 2. The developer has already been listening to players and adjusted the difficulty of the first few levels of the game to make it more friendly. 3. You can get pretty powerful fast with the right combinations of weapons. The Meh: 1. Early progression is really tough on new people who are not familiar with what to expect. 2. The blue credits to upgrade your character from the start drop rarely in the earlier levels. I probably had about 30-45 mins before I saw my first one, and it takes 5 to upgrade. 3. The levels seem to short and currently there is only 20 levels in the game (not sure if more are coming any time soon or not) The bad: 1. I was able to complete all 20 levels already with my character, after that it gives a victory screen with stats. Then you must restart the game. Spend your blue credits and repeat. 2. Feels like you can have early burnout, especially if you can beat it constantly. As of now I would recommend it to pick up. (yeah it cost a few dollars) but worth the entertainment in my book. I like supporting new developers. I will update if my opinion changes in the future.
its not fun already completed nearly full Achivement for 7+ euro aint worth
ステージ1つしかないし、ボスもなし、パーツで見た目変わるけど、キャラ自体小さいから分かりにくい、ほかの似たような作品にくらべやることがすくなすぎ、値段と合わない
Bad design. First half an hour it's not fun because you can't understand it and can't progress at all. Then you suddenly realize how simplie it is. And it's not fun then for half an hour because it's easy. Then you get overwhelmed and bored. And it's even less fun. Becase you have a lot of money but nothing to buy and can't progress again. Then you find another ridiculous tactic like rotating your mouse around you as fast as you can and barrage everyone with simple lasers. Then you just get through levels and rolling the shop waiting for gold or red parts to appear. Then you get bored. It could be faster to understand that this game is bad if there would be any info about it mechanics.
Heavy Machine guns and crit chance + damage for those of you who need a crutch.
As you can tell, I had a blast with this one so far. It has some learning curve till you figure out what is worth getting or what weapons work for you. When you are reading this, Endless Mode is active, meaning, after your first play through of the first 20 levels is completed, you can do the Endless Mode and play as long as you want. Now, with Patch 1.3.0, you have unlimited levels for Orbitals, which makes them a bit OP.;)) I've got one up to LVL 60, the enemies just melted as soon as they come on the screen... There are plenty ways to play it, plenty of weapon variety, that you can for free freely combine, so you can fully reset your build after every level. It will take some time to get used to things, and it is possible, that the first 2 hours won't be enough if you are not used to Rogue Lite games. The Demo might still be available, that could give you an idea how the game works, then buy it, and then you get more out of your free 2 hours and can decide to keep or refund. Once you get the hang of it, it can be a lot of fun! Loads of balancing needs to be done so the later levels are fun too and the enemies are not push overs. I recommend it!
Now that I understand the importance of the drone-stacking mechanics and thanks to the new patch the game got much easier to understand I do feel like that the game is getting pretty solid :) I love mech warrior/battletech type of drones and horde survival games as well, and Metal Ascension if a very nice blend of that. Cool upgrades, banger ost and all the good stuff :) Check it out if you like game like that
