Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Forgot to make a review back in 2023. Battle network vol 1 is worth buying just for BN 3 blue and white alone. BN 1 is rough and 2 while being better than the first game I just find it to be very annoying, it was a step in the right direction but is too grindy, thankfully BN 3 solves all the issues and has the best plot in the series.

This collection has performance issues depending on the hardware setup (most likely AMD cards). It's literally unplayable for me at the moment as I get 1-2 FPS. Haven't found a working fix yet.

battle network 1: a bit rough around the edges, but it's still Battle Network at the end of the day. the series has a combat system that was quite unique for the time and still holds up. If you vibe with this one, you'll probably vibe with the rest of the series. battle network 2: polishes a lot of the rough edges BN1 had. still not quite reaching the heights of later entries but still a fun game. battle network 3: has the best story in the series, delving into heavy topics and emotional peaks that Mega Man RPGs wouldn't reach again until Star Force. thanks to features like the Navi Customizer allowing more options than ever before. there are some issues with excessive backtracking and having to reorganize said navi customizer a lot can be annoying, but this is still the best game in Volume 1. If you only play one game from this volume, make it this one. Collection enhancements: Not nearly as in depth as the later released Star Force collection, meaning there's no way to increase how much money you get from battles, no way to locate V2/V3 bosses, no autosave, etc. There is Buster Max mode which multiplies the damage from your Mega Buster by 100, so if you wanna blaze through the story quick that's always an option. You can also get some overpowered chips if you want, but for the most part you'll be playing these games like they were on the GBA, bad translation and all. Save often. online: dead, though if you wanna netbattle online there is a fanmade client called Tango that isn't dead and has rollback netcode. Might wanna get Vol. 2 if you wanna netbattle though since a lot of players tend to play on the later half of the series. achievements/100%: to get all the achievements you have to play battle network 3 twice. it's tedious but it's not nearly as bad as volume 2. Thankfully you don't need to 100% complete most of the games in order to get all the achievements, and I would not suggest you do so anyway due to how tedious it can get. technical: if you're using an ultrawide monitor the game stretches its 16:9 image when going ultrawide, so get Magpie or just play it on a standard monitor. The game crashed on me a few times as well (i dunno if this was Magpie's fault or that's just how the game be) so SAVE OFTEN. overall: pretty fun series of JRPGs with some warts resulting from rushed development, rushed translation, and the hardware it was made on. If you're willing to put up with all that though, give it a shot!
THESE GAMES WERE MY CHILDHOODDDDDD!!!!! Perfection, love love love this. Definitely the definitive way to play MMBN
Incredibly fun games with a unique combat i havent seen anywhere else- Just need to tolerate the bad encounter rate and old school design of the first game. Still good tho and worth playing. The second (except for 10%) is genuienly great and 3 unfortunately is pretty bad (still worth playing).
