About

Welcome to the Dark Ages, now in color! Medievaly is a real-time strategy game for everyone feeling a little bit Medievaly - or just wanting their own colorful kingdom to enjoy (while fending off relentless attacks from encroaching enemies).
Come for the Middle Ages, stay for dynamic battle simulations where everything can happen, RTS mechanics, and a whole lot of tactical gameplay!

Real-Time Strategy Meets Simulated Battles: Every kingdom needs a base and yours is no exception! Set up defenses, expand infrastructure, then send out your men-at-arms to valiantly die under your banner in unpredictable, occasionally chaotic battles! Once they win, due to your tactical genius, use the gold harvested and won in battle to rally even more warriors to your banner!
Medieval Tactical Warfare: It's not about the size of the longbow - or the pitchfork, or the lance, or the elephant, or... - but how it's used. Build up your army from seventeen distinct units, creating unique and exciting tactics that can turn the tide of the battle... Hopefully in your favor, my liege!
Multiple Game Modes: Enjoy the campaign, building your kingdom up from a handful of villages to an empire bordering with whomever it wants. Want a challenge? How about breaching castles in violent sieges? Seeing who can get a hundred kills the fastest? Or a survival mode, where your fall is assured - the question is, how many foes will go to the ground with you?
Endless Replayability: The Sandbox mode allows you to customize every battle as you see fit, creating an endless variety of scenarios and challenges to test your skill in the art of war.
The Brightest Dark Ages You've Seen Yet: Who said the medieval times were dark and glum? Enjoy the cartoony carnage in all its glory, with vibrant colors a medieval scribe would absolutely die for!

Potansiyeli olan ama üzerinde durulmamış bir oyun, güncelleme falan da gelmiyor çok mantıksız şeyler var zaten oyunda alıp oynamaya gerek yok. https://youtu.be/e0cVXhDk6iE
The idea of the game is interesting, but the levels are way too hard. I don’t recommend it unless you enjoy repeating the same level over and over.
For a Game of this caliber having been done by a single individual is mind blowing. The Game is Genuinely fun and dare i say addictive. The use of Sound effects, music and the rush to kill your enemies before you get owned is just a nice mixture. Game is something you would want to just load up and chill and not think too much, the mechanics are not only easy and simple to understand but also thrilling to out play the game by strategizing and applying it in real time ! The concept is well conceived and delivered beautifully.

The game runs well and feels solid overall. Considering it was developed by one person, it’s truly impressive! I’m enjoying it and will definitely keep playing.
Bland and boring. I beat all the campaign maps before looking at "sandbox", which was as bare bones as possible; either replay the campaign level or survive for some time. There isn't an ability to tweak income rate nor set up your own scenarios. All you literally do is spawn random units and hope you overwhelm the enemy AI with numbers. There isn't clear "Rock-Paper-Scissors" balancing act, where spears beat horses, archers beat spears, etc... It just feels random. Why use "Brute" (whatever that is) when it dies extremely fast and I can spawn horses that tank almost everything? Why even have a Ballista when just 2 or 3 horses will reach it and kill it within a second? You got the spawning mechanic, great, why stop there? Why can't I tell my units to stay in an area? Why Can't i set up defenses? Why can't i build a wall? (no, not the barrier). . I was hoping this would be like another silly Totally Accurate Battle Simulator with base attacking, but even THAT was too high of expectations I guess. Yes, I know it was made by one guy. Cool. That doesn't change anything at all. This needed very little to turn it from meh to actually fun. It's not an excuse to release something half baked. He chose to release it as is.
Medievaly: Battle Simulator is a real-time tactical game that combines strategy, chaos, and charm. With its low-poly graphics and fun medieval units—from archers to elephants—you control battles live, no pausing or rewinding. Players collect gold during fights, deploy units wisely, and adapt on the fly. It features campaign missions, survival mode, and a sandbox for custom battles. Lightweight on system resources and affordably priced, it’s a great pick for fans of casual RTS games. 👍 Pros: Creative gameplay, fun visuals, replayable modes ⚠️ Cons: Basic graphics, solo indie dev means updates may be slower Verdict: Fun, lighthearted, and tactical—perfect for fans of real-time strategy chaos.

Game feels like it needed at least a few more months of development. UI is buggy and will lag, clouds get in the way of the camera, no stats for the miner, levels are way too hard, but a cool idea for a game, just half baked as of now.
As a person growing playing battle simulator game, I like the premise this game has to offer. It was very easy to understand how the game works, you know almost instantly what to do when playing the game. Especially if you have experience playing similar game. It work wonders. There is a problem tho. While I finish the first campaign run (chapter-1). The game doesn't save my progress when I press "back to menu". This make my progress seems nonexistent :( Hope this get fixed soon. Shouldn't be a hard one. Personally I'm not the type to go press continue on every run since I have something to do outside of gaming. This problem actually discourage me to play. I will check on the game later to see if the problem is fixed. Good luck.
Medievaly: Battle simulator is a fun and challenging game, with campaigns that increase in difficulty and enemies that challenge players' strategies at every turn. It delivers what a good RTS should offer. The background music is pleasant, and the menus are easy to navigate. I believe the developer should continue investing in new levels and game modes with limited troops, or a progression where you start with only the weakest troops and, as the game progresses, stronger troops are unlocked according to certain requirements. Other than that, I believe the tutorial could be simpler and more user-friendly, as the tutorial game (level 1) already offers a level of difficulty that can scare new players away. Otherwise, it's a great game, especially considering it was conceived and developed by a single developer. I congratulate the game and look forward to seeing the upcoming updates.
