The game has a fair share of positive reviews. I understand why. There's nothing *wrong* with it. It wouldn't make you angry to play it. But that's about as far as you can go for this game, and you'll notice that only one reviewer I've found managed to play for longer than an hour. If my son made this when he was 7 years old, I might be proud of him. I'd even show it off to the other parents and say "Look what my son can do!" It screams "Baby's First Unity Project". And by that standard, yeah, it's pretty neat. But aside from that, what possible reason could you have to spend 5 dollars on this game? Buy yourself a burger. There is nothing this game has to offer in terms of innovation, creativity, interest. Stock art assets backed up with stock bgm and sound effects that barely fit what's happening on the screen. The game design is dreadfully boring and there's not a lot of thought put into it. Want an example? One of the "awesome items" you can get from a room is an attack boost. This attack boost increases your damage... by 5%. 5%??? Really? That means your attacks go from dealing 25 to 26 damage. Put this into perspective. The first couple of enemies you fight have 80-100ish health. That means if you somehow, by some stroke of fantastic luck, manage to get SEVEN attack boosts in a row, it still doesn't have a practical effect on how many hits it takes to kill something. That is so mindblowingly dull. I can't imagine a single person in the world, in any game, under any occasion, that would be excited to get a 5% damage boost. And all the other items are similarly useless or operating under conditions of poor design. Seriously. Don't get this game. If it's given to you for free, don't play it. I seriously hope your time is more valuable than this.

Played during the free weekend. This is a nice little bullet hell rogue-like dungeon crawler, nothing overly complex, no story, no great graphics, no long load times, just pick up and play. I only played on Easy difficulty (I suck at bullet hell), and that was a fun casual experience for a few hours. There's nothing really *special* about it, but I found myself picking it up again and again for one more round, until I finally beat the final (fourth) boss. Didn't encounter any bugs, was a very smooth experience, easy enough to figure out how to play and how to get better. Played with controller, worked well.
Straight off the bat, the game feels quite smooth with controls and animations. It's a room-to-room clearing game, with a short play through and 100% achievement time; it feels like it would be a good entry level game for someone who's looking to get the basics of learning a controller down. Unfortunately, it feels like the game should have more to offer at the current price of about $5 as many other less pricey games have much more to offer than 4 repetitious levels of game play and no story. Recommended if on sale or bundled for the achievement hunters out there.
Short, has a feeling of being a school project. Not worth the time and money spent yet overall is somewhat decent. Can't recommend as it is.
I got this game as part of one of those Christmas bundles. I tried it for just 15 minutes, and that was enough to give it a positive vote. The game is pretty simple: wander around "rooms," killing every enemy there, and avoiding being killed yourself. When you clear a room, you may get power-ups, weapons, enhanced stats, etc. When you clear all the rooms, you can challenge the boss. There is a timer for each map, and the game rewards unused time. The game controls are very intuitive, so it is almost perfect as a casual game.
2/10 its a game. you get what you see, bugs and all will be hiding this in my library and forgetting i own
Cute and pretty like classic 2D Zelda games, but boring so it wasn't my type. It ran nicely on my decade old, updated 64-bit W7 HPE SP1 PC. :) Also, why can't I change my direction keys instead of using its default W, A, S, and D keys? :(
Nemo Dungeon is a short and simple dungeon rogue-lite game. The controls feels really clean and precise. The mobs and hero classes have some variety as well. As someone said, this game indeed feels like a school project, but it was definitely well made. Recommended for people who want to have some mindless fun.
