Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Honestly... This game sucks... I know it is an old game and as a Kid I watched BaronVonGames Play it.. But when I got it. The gameplay, the controls, and graphics were pretty repetitive and it was hard to play for more then an hour. and the enemy was really really aggressive when I was just trying to learn the controls. Honestly it should be a free game now since it doesn't hold up to modern games today. I am sorry to say this.. But Home Wars will not come back as the game I remember it being famous for.. if at least there's a serious update. I don't Recommend this game.

Absolutely worth it, If you like calm-ish games and need a break from fast paced ones, this is a great low cost, relatively low intensity game. Hell, if i had kids i would show them this game lol, it really is great fun,
"One ant alone isn't dangerous, but if there are more than just one... they are still not dangerous..." "terrible warrior" "hardly cause you any problem" ok buddy, tell that to my 20 light riflemen that somehow get eviscerated by just 40 ants
Not going to lie, this game would be awesome if executed correctly, but the interface sucks, there is NO QOL, it's clunky and unrefined... Just obnoxious to play. Again, would be great if the devs actually cared about it. Oh and they use AI for pictures so there's that too. Refunded for now... Will look at it again in a couple of years hoping there is some improvement.
It has potential but by god is it horrid to play, when playing with the default difficulty settings the difficulty is absurd. If you don't start with a perfect opener you're gonna run out of resources, if you don't tech rush your infantry are throwing pebbles, if you get machine gunners or a little bird, their shooting water at best, the early armoured vehicles? Useless, their guns do so little damage that a group of 6 ants can easily destroy 1 recon, it's horrid. I get their tiny soldiers going against big ants and what not but by god is it annoying, now of course this all has to do with balancing, which is absolutely horrid if it wasn't clear, gameplay wise? It's okay, it's an older game and it shows but still has potential to be fun. The sandbox is fun once or twice at least. 3/10, If you like CBT mixed with so mild rts and turn-based strategy then maybe you'll have more fun than I did.
Игра хорошая но есть один минус, нет русского языка, много всего но не чего не понятно ,а с русским языком будет легче разбираться в игре, добавьте русский язык пожалуйста.
This game is just not worth the money. If it is in sale for a few cents, sure go ahead and buy it. But the game is just so BAD. The UI is completely cluttered and the elements literally just thrown there like that. When joining a battle against the bugs the mechanics to move your troops and plan stuff out is just really really bad compared to other strategic games like Rome 2 for example. I'm gonna request a refund. To recap, bad graphics, bad UI, bad gameplay.
Just like I remember from childhood youtube videos
No tutorial? I ain't reading all that manual with all the errors and poor UI. ESC doesn't go back/exit menu? Confusing/hard, not intuitive UI. Recruit army select units, no units on map? Okay, maybe next turn? End turn. No units on map still. Realize I have to Recruit army, select units, CREATE NEW ARMY, and it's a single plastic dude who gets rolled over by 900 ants and mosquitos.
