About
MAXIMUM Action is the stress ball of first-person shooters. If you are looking for a quick dose of highly replayable sandbox slow-motion heroic bloodshed with homages to classic ’80s and '90s action flicks then MAXIMUM Action might just be the FPS you’ve been dreaming of.
No complicated skill trees, leveling up, or drawn-out cutscenes, just pure fun that gets straight to the point.
Where MAXIMUM Action shines is in its emphasis on creativity and replayability. The entire game has been designed as a sandbox for the player to experiment in. From simply approaching levels with different combinations of dives, slides, and kicks, to a fully-fledged level editor allowing players to create action in any way they see fit. Further, use the sandbox menu to replay levels with different combinations of weapons or add more enemies to up the challenge.
And with full workshop and mod support, experiment with hundreds of custom levels and weapons to spice up the action!
Getting the best experience out of MAXIMUM Action requires a bit of creativity and imagination from the player, and I understand not everyone is up to the challenge! But if you’ve always wanted to play a role in your own balls to the wall action movie then I’d say give MAXIMUM Action a try!

5 years in early access..... Just another example of why Steam EA is a waste of time
This is a early access retro FPS project that was once featured in realms deep. Don't buy this. It is mostly abandoned and it doesn't work on Linux so even if by some miracle this does come out of early access by then, no one worthy can play it anyway. Windows is no longer the best OS for gaming. Edit: played it now and I have some more things to say. This has some of the most bizarre and buggy ragdolling I have ever seen. At one point a guy fell down the stairs and then the body just sort of floated back up and stood up because he wasn't dead. The game is overall really unpolished.
Very fun, Max Payne fans would absolutely adore this game. 7/10
something is missing. the gunfights and combat feel alright....enemy reactions just sap it from me.
This is a fun game that still gets updated pretty regularly. I like the game but I really wish achievements were added because right now there is nothing to unlock and no reason to progress through the game. Please add achievements and other progression related features in the future! It feels empty without that aspect implemented. Can't wait until it comes out of Early Access and is a finished game!
Gunplay is so satisfied, especially I'm into the retro theme and vibes, steam workshop has tons of content, weapons and maps you can easily download for free. 10 out of 10 in my opinion
amazing game runs smooth and the gunplay/movement feels amazing just wish there was more content
Works well on deck, especially with M&K. Outstanding.
GOOD现在有中文了,随便入
Fun. Needs furry cosmetic option though.
