This is not a new game so a game breaking bug 20 minutes into the story is absolutely inexcusable. I cant shoot anymore. No the game didnt glitch out and change the controls the left mouse button is still shoot except it isnt and it doesnt. Spent more time trying to fix this bug than actually playing the game. Disgusting
“So I guess I'd become what they wanted me to be, a killer. Some rent-a-clown with a gun who puts holes in other bad guys. Well that's what they had paid for, so in the end that's what they got.” Max Payne 3 is a great game but not a great sequel. It features an epic action story with a pretty fitting art direction and good soundtrack. Rockstar spent over $100 million to bring this game to fruition and yet it didnt outsell the first MP... The combat is very fun and fluid thanks to the RAGE engine. "I had a dream of my wife. She was dead. But it was all right." The story, even though well written, ruins the character of Max Payne, turning him into an alcoholic and a painkiller addict as well as portraying him as this agressive ex-cop who for whatever reason signed up for a job in Brazil. It doesn't hurt as much considering the lead writer of the previous games, Sam Lake, didn't work on the story. In conclusion, I really love Max Payne and had a great time playing this entry!!! But as mentioned it feels more like a spin-off than a mainline game.
very fuzzy and middle videos is very annoying
It's not a game with loading screens and monologues. It's literally loading screens with 15 secs of gameplay between them and a monologue in the background.
thank god I got gifted this
excelente juego hasta la actualidad
good game
Toltamente Based! Cade o Max Payne 4 Rockstar?
This is not about Max Payne
Better than 1st and worse than 2nd game. Max is too dumb in this game, after going sober (so your argument that he is drunk fails), that entire shelf of painkillers wouldn't help me cope with it. It's so bombastic, blockbuster and hollywood-like. Take 10 steps, cutscene, fight for 10min, cutscene, take 15 steps cutscene. Holy ♥♥♥♥, let me play the game, man. I won't even talk about those on-rails levels, it's pathetic to be honest. This game is an equivilent of the early 2010s action game. (many similarities to SPEC OPS THE LINE). Anyway it's still really good. Gameplay is fantastic, gunplay is flawless, music is amazing and respect to move from NYC to Brazil. The graphics still holds up. Boss fights are also bad, i'd say worse than previous games because it's a third installment and boss fights are still scripted so bad, no improvement. Remakes will blow this game out the water, when they come out.
