Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Decent with 5X mods to balance the tech tree and unofficial patches to fix bugs. Still feels unfinished and unpolished and I wonder if the devs originally rushed this out the door.
I played the original MOO series when they first came out, and for nostalgia reasons I bought this. This is a re-skinned version of the original MOO 2. The vanilla version is mediocre and buggy. Using the Unofficial patch solves most of these problems, making it worth getting. MOO is the granddaddy of the 4X genre, so if you like them you should like this one.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Abandoned by the developer, so bad on them, but the mods finished it and made it a lot of fun to play. Good successor to MOO2. Highly recommend if you like ScFi or 4x strategy games.
Дизы игре ставят по одной единственной причине: "Второй Мастер Орион лучше, потому что когда он вышел, у меня xyu стоял!"
Master of Orion 1 : Simple yet good. Master of Orion 2 : Perfection. Master of Orion 3 : Yeah well... What can I say... An Ambitious project which caused the game to take a freaking lot longer to finish. Then you have Master of Orion, this version takes every good feature the first 3 versions had and did the opposite. What City Skylines did to SimCity, Stellaris did to Master of Orion. For me this game has never been worth it.
Game continues to lock up around turn 42, regardless of any mods, order of mods loading, etc. It's frustrating!
The developers abandoned the game and the armies are heavily imbalanced. The community has to fix this game with custom patches you have to install on the computer, which already makes this an awful game. AI is buggy and there is very little room for counter play. Game not worth picking up.
no. this one just does not work. the antarans (?) just come in and wipe out your home planet period. i even cheated and modded for more beginning perks on a new race and racing the tech tree for better equiped ships to fight them seems to be a waste of time. this can not be moo. a stripped down version maybe.
I bought this because I was a fan of the original game (25 years ago). While the game is good and while I am grateful that it got upgraded, I am facing persistent bugs in the endgame part of the game. That really reduces the enjoyment which is really a pity because I used to love this game. If they can fix these bugs, then I am willing to change my rating because I would love to love this game, but unf I can't
With MODS (5x + ULC + Tactical) it is a very good sequel to MOO2.
