Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 20 → 109.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A WW1 action game built around fully destructible battlefields where chaos reigns supreme. Explosions tear through terrain, fortifications collapse, and the front line can change shape minute to minute.
Over The Top: WWI turns the grim setting of the Great War into a frantic playground of destruction where plans rarely ever survive first contact.
Charge as a rifleman, build as an engineer, clear trenches as a pyromaniac flamethrower specialist, or call in airstrikes as an officer. Each class has a clear job on the battlefield, plus plenty of room for improvisation. Choose from three factions: France, Britain, or Germany, each with eight distinct classes. Unlock new equipment and customization as you play.
A dynamic, destructive WW1 Sandbox: blow up everything, dig anywhere, reshape trenches, collapse buildings, destroy fortifications. Explosions leave permanent changes that affect sightlines, routes, and cover. Fight across multiple maps, playable in different seasons and daytimes. Use the full map editor to create and share your own battlegrounds.
Dive into massive 200-player battles! Drop into the middle of an epic war movie, packed with flying debris, collapsing trenches, charging tanks and objectives changing hands as the ground itself gets carved up - pure multiplayer madness awaits you.
Bring flamethrowers, poison gas, shovels, dynamite, artillery, airplanes, machine guns, and a lineup of vehicles and experimental tanks. Gear up with a mix of historical weapons, use a vast lineup of different vehicles, and other items: slap enemies with a baguette or play the bagpipe to boost morale! Have you ever driven a tank with 10 other players inside? In our game, you can do so!

First off it's a dead game. Even during peak hours on a Saturday the game struggles to get over 200 active players and with multiplayer servers that can hold 200 max players there's almost never any full servers. And so the empty spots on a server are filled in with bots and the bots can range from being useless and stupid as hell to having amazing sniper level accuracy and be super annoying. There are maps that are fun to play and balanced and others that are the opposite and unbalanced for one team or the other. Like the position of artillery guns where 1 team has artillery guns in a more centralized location near their main spawn area giving them a easy view of the entire map while the other teams artillery guns are very off to the right making it impossible for their guns to hit anything on half the map. And others maps like Crossroads where there's a big artillery gun at C that allows one team to shoot and kill the other teams tanks before they can even get out of spawn or get across the giant empty field to attack any control points. Devs are super slow to add new content and even slower to ban the cheaters, players don't use mics or work together at all ever. And any player who do use a mic 99% of the time are blasting loud music. Bugs bugs bugs everywhere. Aimbot cheaters are a growing problem. You can be killed through the ground and from across the map from random bullets and explosions. Teammates trolling and destroy friendly building objects or digging holes / trenches in engineer work areas. Engineers building defenses on the last point almost never use any tactics and just resort to digging trenches or building dirt mounds. I at least managed to get my moneys worth out of it before the player base entirely died off but now it's just not that fun. There was other multiplayer servers like a zombie survival server against wave after wave after wave of bots which was actually alot of fun but with so few players getting on anymore you're stuck playing 1 server all the time and cant do anything else. Overall pretty meh game. Save your money and spend it on something else.

200 idiots digging randomly with shovels screaming obscenities at each other only to get lit up by machine guns, mustard gas, tanks, and planes. Did it serve any useful purpose? Probably not. Is it fun? You betcha. Remember kids: if Tolkien wasn't scared schittless by this war, we'd have never gotten The Lord Of The Rings!
This was a really cool game for a moment. I saw it on the top sellers and picked it up. When the battles were 100v100, it really was something. The map would change every moment, and you'd really be reminded of that looking over the untouched map at the beginning ceasefire. Half of the players would just be yelling at each other, pissing with their ♥♥♥♥♥ out (literally) while the other half erected a fortress in minutes. The devs were really responsive and clear with their intentions too. VOIP was killer, first or third person camera, the game ran smooth, it was super fun playing. Maybe 5 to 15 years ago, this game could have build a player base and would have had years of fun, but unfortunately we are here now, and this game got disintegrated in the flow of games. Any studio that makes a shooter these days is fighting a near unwinnable fight. TL;DR would I actually recommend buying this game? Unfortunately no. This good rating was just to let the davs know that you guys made a good product, I hope you can be proud of that.
unfortunately, game is dead. never any full servers anymore and whats left are never NA, meaning too much lag to be worth playing. was fun whilst the NA servers were still alive but thats no longer the case
By Jolly Jove i love this game. I can roleplay as a captain and command the lowly trench diggers to pick up the pace while I tell them tales of old and listen to old billy playing the bagpipes he brought with him. God save the Queen I do say. On occasion, the Gerry's do come over the top into our trenches, blaring 'Cascada - every time we touch' on what seems to be an old JBL Bluetooth speaker, as they burn us to ashes with their FlammenTroossen. I was once in the midst of a great battle. somewhere on the continent, and by all that is holy, a fully armoured knight stood before me. Head to Toe in iron armour, wielding a great big sword! My dear boy, where did you come from? this is the wrong Century! I say as I point my pistol at him. 3 shots from my revolver, to no effect and i could hear him. laughing at me, with a think Parisian laugh "Honhonhonhon". Cheeky bugger cut me down where I stood, may I rest in peace. No Matter, we shall rise again and take the Somme for our own by the grace of god himself. Roleplaying = 10/10 Gameplay loop = 10/10 Digging = 10/10 Germans = 7/10 French -17/10 (there are too many of them. Sacre bleu yourself you baguette munching Frenchman) There is no learning curve. its simple to enlist in her majesty's royal 2nd battalion and go to war. Bring all the men in your village while you're there. My one comment of criticism is the player count. Last Saturday there was 300 people online. How can I shout commands when apparently everyone I talk to is a bloody clanker. I do need feedback from the shenanigans and the lack of players is a shame for a prestigious creation such as this one. Jolly great War, I look forward to the next one
I knew this game would fail because the saturation of artillery was too much. Every game would go like this: spawn, explode, spawn, explode, spawn, explode, spawn, explode, and so on. I get it, "there was artillery in WW1!" obviously. But the artillery in this game is far too frequent and too close together, if you get caught in an artillery barrage, which is all the time, you 100% will not live even if you're hidden in the bowels of a trench network. After getting blown up for the 10000th time in a row I couldn't continue playing annnnd now the game is dead. Randomly exploding 95% of the time isn't fun gameplay. Who would've thought.
>Open game after I haven't played for a few months >Select server >Spawn into match >Go to frontline trench >Get obliterated by artillery after less than one second >Spawn again >Get shot by a guy I never even saw >Spawn again >Commanding officer is yelling at us fortifying our position instead of advancing >Get hit with gas >Die again Ahhh, realism.
Dead game. There is like 20 player online accross the servers. Not really ideal for game that is supposed to have 100 vs 100 matches
Cool concept and pretty immersive environment. However, combat and movement is incredibly janky and the game seems like it's dying.
