game has basically no redeeming qualities. could be good if you are the age between 6 and 16.
This is quite a bit better than i expected. Multiple systems for crafting and upgrades that mesh well, tons of collectibles, large range of heroes to recruit, and the mesh of xcom'ish combat with some deck builder aspects. So far it's an awesome game.

nice game
TL;DR: A turn-based card battler with excellent strategic depth wrapped in a Marvel package. Skip the narrative and get to the amazing battles! The story is weak, and the writing is juvenile, filled with bad jokes and awkward dialogue. Characters also come off as ignorant. Voice acting is inconsistent and often poorly delivered. The music is serviceable, and the art direction is moderate, though character designs sometimes clash with the environments. The roster mixes staple Marvel heroes with a few unique additions. You create a Hunter avatar, but customization is limited, it has an androgynous voice, and the skills are fixed with a light or dark path based on convo choices. The card-based combat remarkably fun. Each turn gives you a limited number of card plays, redraws, and movement options to encourage strategy. Cards have unique effects and tags, environmental interactions are satisfying, and critical draws add excitement. The animations, sound design, and camera work make battles feel epic. You can level up characters, upgrade cards, and customize decks. Unfortunately, missions and enemy types become repetitive over time. Outside of combat, the game is padded with filler. Poor dialogue choices, relationship meters, club meetings, hangouts, and hub exploration often feel like chores.. There are plenty of collectibles and lore entries for completionists. Lastly, the game borrows too many mobile and gacha-inspired design elements. There's a cash shop for cosmetic skins, and the game's already weak writing is further undermined by awkward, alphabet characterization. DLC require to get all the characters. I am surprised there is no season pass.
Overall I would give this game a 4/10 and would not recommend anyone else play it, a lot of graphics issues and many times the game just couldnt load the next move and would force me to just start the whole fight over. The card upgrade system is very bare bones and can be maxed out very early if you play like me and want to max friendships before the end of the game. I was hoping to be able to 100% the achievements before leaving a review but not checking them before (avoiding spoilers) caused me to miss some that are either rng where you just have to keep grinding in the hopes of someone showing up in a fight or stuff that will take multiple hours of extra gameplay to be able to complete, not having an achievement for NG+ is fine but the fact it would be quicker to play the whole game again to snag the last 4-5 i'm missing makes this game drop in rating for me. Story: 6.5/10 Gameplay: 4.5/10 Graphics: 4/10 Replayability: 2/10
This game is so brilliant. It looks beautiful, has really deep decision making, and so unique of a design. One of my favorite games hands down. If you like board games or turn based tactical games you should play it. Yes it has a cringe friend simulator aspect, but honestly the battles and party building is so insanely good it's easy to skim past the cringe. It's such a shame this game did poorly in sales because the game and the devs who made it deserved better. Now we'll never have an xcom3 because of this game being criminally underrated.
fun game, definitely worth it on a sale.
super fun. challenging . if you like comics and marvel this game is for you. takes a little to learn but fun once you get the hang of it
