Great turn-based-tactics deckbuilding combined with the Marvel heroes.
…J’y retourne.
I didn't think I would like it at first but it really drew me in. The combat is great and the story is good enough. I liked being able to build my relationships with all the characters and learning how each character operates.

Overall I would give this game a 4/10 and would not recommend anyone else play it, a lot of graphics issues and many times the game just couldnt load the next move and would force me to just start the whole fight over. The card upgrade system is very bare bones and can be maxed out very early if you play like me and want to max friendships before the end of the game. I was hoping to be able to 100% the achievements before leaving a review but not checking them before (avoiding spoilers) caused me to miss some that are either rng where you just have to keep grinding in the hopes of someone showing up in a fight or stuff that will take multiple hours of extra gameplay to be able to complete, not having an achievement for NG+ is fine but the fact it would be quicker to play the whole game again to snag the last 4-5 i'm missing makes this game drop in rating for me. Story: 6.5/10 Gameplay: 4.5/10 Graphics: 4/10 Replayability: 2/10
Very fun combat, good story and a lot of dialog if you do the friendship stuff, which gets kinda too much imo. The game ran well except for some stutters, but the Endboss fight was laggy af, idk who optimzed it but damn. Still a good game overall.
Overall it’s surprisingly fun and charming. It seems like a western take of the Persona games… + XCOM Combat has good depth. It’s a tactical turn-based deck builder. I enjoy trying out new builds or new team comps and I appreciate the option to restart combat when things go south… Free time is friendship building + free exploration. Friendship story feels like high school drama, which made sense to me since the game is Marvel Persona. I quite liked the mini open world - it is not overwhelming (it’s a tiny area map after all) and is a fun change of pace with lore. I started for the gameplay and really didn’t care for the story at first, and yes it’s corny at times, but it grew on me - coming from someone who is not familiar with comic or MCU at all. Some characters are very likable. Regardless, if you enjoy tactical combat, the game is worth considering for gameplay alone.
Was fun as hell but eventually got boring. Deadpool made me come back but eventually got bored again
