Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

Divertente.

Overall the game is fine. It's a solid 6/10. That isn't to say it's a bad game, but it just doesn't do anything really well. It does most things fine, it's ok as a game even if you have no interest in Marvel. The weakest area I would say is the combat, it feels like you're using a nerf gun throughout the whole game, especially on higher difficulties, and the essence of it is just spamming abilities once they are off CD. I think the fighting was my least favorite aspect other than Music, since I'm not a fan of 80's music. The voice acting however, is superb, the VA's for this game clearly gave it their all and it shows. Absolute excellence in this area. The graphics look very good, and have aged very well. Sometimes animations are a little choppy or glitchy, but that's a game engine issue, not to do with the animators. Overall the cutscenes and in game models look and move very well and the overall look is very pretty. I never had moments where I thought the game looked ugly. In fact, there were a few moments where you get to see some very beautiful landscapes and imagery, so great job on the visuals. Sound design is fine, everything feels like the sound is appropriate, sounds match what they are supposed to be and overall the soundscape is well done. The monetization is where I really want to praise this game, there aren't really any MTX and there are dozens of costumes to unlock, some look really cool. There's no stupid account sign up or online requirement, it's just a good standalone singleplayer game and I seriously want to praise that. I think for the average gamer, unless you are a big Marvel fan or really like GotG, this game might be skippable. Sure, it's enjoyable even if you aren't a fan, but I feel like it was made for the fans, which is a good thing, but it also doesn't excel to the point where it's just great as a game by itself. I think if you pick this up for around $20 you'll get your money's worth. More so if you are a big fan. The story is a big issue for me though because it feels so...childish. I get that this is a kid's property, but it goes a little beyond that into the territory of "forced good vibes". There is so little genuine conflict between the characters, a lot feels forced, but only if you look at it as an adult, from a child perspective a lot of the bickering makes sense. The villains do at least take themselves seriously which is a huge step up from most Marvel villains, unfortunately the entire universe of Marvel is just so poorly written in the Thanos arc that it's hard to take anything seriously. I'm not 100% sure if the game or Marvel outside of the movies uses the exact same plot, but in the movie at least Thanos wipes out half the galaxy population because it's overpopulated? Like, the ENTIRE UNIVERSE is overpopulated? This isn't game specific, but it's an example of the game having very bad foundation to build on because that concept is the entire backdrop and it's so insanely stupid. However, the game writers did a really good job adding a serious tone to the back stories of each character so I think they built great characters off of a bad foundation. There are stupid things the writers do story wise but I don't know if I can even entirely fault them for that either. They basically treat space like a sky unless it's a specific instance, which is pretty dumb. There are also a couple of really weird lines that sound very out of place, like Mantis talking about one of the characters "respecting female bodily autonomy" which is such a weird thing to say and no one ever talks like that. I just wonder why they put it into the game at all. That line might suggest the game has a "woke" undertone but thankfully it does not, there are just a few weird lines, the game's writing is not political or agenda driven. The strangest part of the plot and what drove me to even write this review is that you are supposedly playing as the "heroes" but you spend the vast majority of the game murdering what are essentially innocent people, Without spoiling anything I cannot elaborate but the people you are killing are almost never "bad guys" they just got caught up in it, and all the while your characters are laughing and joking as they kill these innocent people and it feels so....weird and disconnected. I actually started the game on a high difficulty but turned it down not because it was too hard but just because the combat was so boring, which I've never done before. The combat isn't terrible though, it's plenty entertaining for a younger individual like a teenager or younger, so if you buy this for your kid who likes Marvel I do think they'll enjoy it as it has little profanity and generally is very child friendly which is I think the audience for the game, though adults can definitely enjoy it too. In essence the game is "okay" which is not a bad thing, I just wish it did more, but for what it is, it's fine.

Хорошая игра с интересной историей и отличной атмосферой, а так же отличных персонажей с многими смешными диалогами. Прошел с удовольствием, рекомендую

Fun game, but some annoying glitches which made me unable to move the character. After restarting te game it was working again.

Вот такие игры про марвел должны быть, игра оч крутая не знаю что там с мастителями, говорили не очень Но такую игру однозначно рекомендую, жаль продолжения не будет

If you're a GOTG fan, you're in for a treat! Played and platinum'd this game on the PlayStation when it first came out and completed it again on PC. 10/10. This..is..so..metal!!
