[b]A genuinely great Marvel story with combat that earns its stripes[/b] ([b]Recommended[/b]) Went in expecting a decent licensed Marvel game, came out actually invested in the story the whole way through. The crew feels like the movie versions but gets way more room to breathe here, same goes for the villains, nobody feels generic. First three chapters are slow, mostly just teaching you the mechanics, but push through it because once combat opens up it gets ten times better, especially once you realize Star-Lord's supposed to feel weak solo, you're meant to lean on your team, and that's what makes the fights click. There's no real puzzles or exploration since it's a linear game, but collectibles and outfits are still fun to chase and chapter select lets you grab anything you missed later. Level design's great too, environments are interactive and messing with your team keeps things lively. Visuals and audio are stunning, no complaints, the 80s soundtrack nails it and little stuff like closing the fridge or the crew just talking in the background makes the ship feel alive. [b]Bugs[/b] Only one worth mentioning: Star-Lord sometimes won't take the last stair step and just jogs in place till you jump. Happens a lot early on, you get used to it. (Didn't chase the platinum, just played through and had a great time. Still an easy recommend for anyone who wants a well told Marvel story with combat that actually holds up)

Very rad game! Love the tunes, the vibes, the creep punching, and even starship blasting. It is buggy as hell, but I got over it and if you do, its really fun! If you see it on sale def worth it to snag a copy, just don't pay full price unless they fix the bugs

10/10 Was not at all expecting this game to be good. WOW. I was wrong. This game has one of the most painful and sad moments in my gaming history ("I love you Peter...") The gameplay is incredible and totally unexpected with incredible fights and bosses. Memorable characters and excellent use of the lore. Beautiful and moving, I cannot recommend this game enough especially if you are a Marvel fan.
