I liked this a lot despite being lukewarm on marvel (this mostly stands alone aside from a few cute references) and I think its because the Choices That Matter actually end up mattering more often than not, with at least a few branching paths and funny callbacks. Looks pretty, the jokes mostly work, and they did a good job of making cosmetics fun enough that you don't mind going out of your way to find them. But having said that: the combat is so atrocious that I thought I was doing it wrong, but by the end of the game I was actually pretty good at it and nope, still bad! Its like some kind of bizarre cross between Mass Effect and the Arkham games with the strengths of neither? I'm not sure how to describe it. The fact that the game is pretty good despite this is really a testament to the writing and general vibes, honestly.
Had some really fun time playing this. Visuals are very impressive and I was always impressed by how different each area looks and how good the graphics were. The main team was very fun, their humor is unmatched.

Guardians of the Galaxy game live up to its name as a highly entertaining, fun, but also chaotic game. The story is superb and each characters are not your typical heroes, since all of them are misfits in their own ways. Moreover, I love the voice acting and the characterization of every single characters, especially Mantis and Cosmo. Dare I say I laugh and feel like a part of this team. The combat is awesome as well as the customization. One of the best superheroes games besides Spider-Man and Batman Arkham Knight, in my opinion. Definitely a game worth to buy and play! Kammy FTW!

Really good music. Characters are personable and the Fin Fang Foom fight was epic. Loved the huddle mechanic but sometimes the game would stutter so bad it was funny, especially for those gelatinous cube fights. Story is really good as well. The humor is fantastic and some of the best I have seen in a videogame and that might be the best part of the game. Rating - 7.2/10
