Having played this after the sequel, I still feel it holds up well enough and plays in practice differently enough that you can treat either's endless mode separately. The existence of placeable spikes acting as the persistent, multi-wave damaging gadget while the role is taken by turrets in Snezhinka when they last for only one wave here makes for a rather different experience. While there's less music it's still very fun- and challenge mode music is quite relaxing actually.

"You're excellent and shouldn't be thrown away." I don't even know how I stumbled upon this game but I thank the algorithm that pushed this to my feed. An absolutely soul-crushing story about a girl willing to defend her failing nation to protect her family that should honestly have an anime adaptation one day. This is NOT Valkyria Chronicles and the writing of this geopolitical saga is more akin to Gundam with the brutality of war on full display. The game loop is simple yet satisfying and the weapon/upgrade/partner systems add a lot of replay value coupled with a fun endless mode that makes this a great experience on Deck.

The overall gameplay and story are good, and the characters are really cute. I recommend playing Part 2 to better understand the current situation in Kazormia. However, there is a small bug. On every 10th day (before entering the dormitory), if you buy any attribute upgrade item (e.g., ATK, RF, Concentration, etc.), the corresponding attribute does not increase. Other items work normally. P/S: I love them all

あっさり濃いめみたいなゲーム。 プレイ時間的にも手軽にあそべて面白かった。 ほんと、あっさりと濃い。
