Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36.14/day in the week to Jul 22 → 49.38/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

Gunplay is amazing. Loot system is getting less brutal from launch. Keep making this game better.
If you can disregard the public opinion, enjoy a challenge and love immersion, this is the game for you. The audio, visuals and storytelling are all present, and the combination of their attention to detail, tough enemies and ruthless player-base, I found quickly why they said "it's not for everyone" they meant it. But its for me, and if its for you, ill see you in TCIV.
Anything about this game feels good personally. I'm a casual player and so far i didn't meet any concerns related to the game. I play with randoms or run on solo with Rook or just with my homies but overall if you like this genre with a bit of a more violent game population this game is fine. So far tho the game has it's issues mostly due to Bungie itself and not the game. As for the grind and farming... yeah that's kinda hard but mostly because you either are unlucky for the timing when you're fighting the NPCs and all of a sudden the chaos you created draws the enemy teams towards your location, or just because your equipment can't be played as aggressively as you want. About the weapons i have nothing to say, if you play correctly and with you team and abuse the hostile NPCs on your favour you can turn the tables in most situations. Unfortunately the game population is dying due to many issues but for me this game remains the best place where to play I'm bored or have nothing to do. 10/10 ambience as well.
Juego incromprendido, me ha divertido, no todas las partidas salen como quieres pero es parte de la experiencia. Las visuales y estética definitivamente son lo mejor.
Honestly I think if the game sounds like something you would enjoy, i think you will enjoy it. But the inverse i think holds equally true.
Really good, intense game! I love the style of it, and the different shells are unique and fun to use. I am enjoying learning them all and collecting the free sponsored kit shell skins. Although I haven't played an extraction shooter before, Marathon is so much fun that losing doesn't bother me much. The encounters with other players can be over very quickly. The sound effects are so good, the maps are interesting, and the quests from the different factions give you optional tasks to focus on. Overall a really fantastic game.
I picked up Marathon after finally giving it a chance during the last free weekend. I do not regret it at all. When Marathon came out, I didn't think I would like it based off the small amount of gameplay I saw. However, I was wrong. Combat feels great. Weapons are interesting but make sense. Attachments are refreshing. Visual style REALLY hits when you are in the game yourself compared to just watching someone else play. Movement is perfect. All of that AND there is deep and intriguing lore I just really did not expect. I am also an Arc Raiders player and I'm shocked the PVP heavy side of that community isn't also here. I'm pretty friendly there but Marathon is a different beast for me. Finding myself in more fights here whether against players or the AI, losses still feel fun. That reason alone is why you should give Marathon a chance. There's so much to do, so much to see, incentives for teammates to help with quests. Bungie did a great job here and I really hope people begin noticing.
This is a real, bona fide gamer's game. The sublime uncanny valley aesthetic and an equally chilling OST drew in a lot of casuals who are a little bit sore and sensitive towards the difficulty. The teamplay is great and the differences between the shells are useful without being too intrusive or overbearing. Solo play is genuinely exhilarating. The story is clever and develops as the live service progresses, but most of the lore is tucked neatly away in the menus as a reward for extracting artefacts. No, the game is not dying; this is simply not a game for casuals or oldheads.
