Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 10 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is the absolute experience
First of all, even though I absolutely loved this game and highly recommend it, I can't recommend it to everyone. If you're looking for constant plot twists, fast-paced action, and intense gameplay, this might not be the game for you (although there are still some exceptions). However, if you want a great story, believable and natural characters, a soothing atmosphere, and some of the best soundtracks I've ever heard, then Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is 100% for you. The story takes its time to unfold (the first tape is a masterpiece), giving you plenty of time and opportunities to bond with the characters. The protagonist, Swann, is interesting and intriguing. Personally, I would have liked to see more character development from her, but she still grows alongside the player throughout the story. The gameplay and mechanics are great. For example, you can film almost anything at any time, and I personally loved that feature. The story is mysterious and occasionally even unsettling, yet it remains easy to follow and creates a truly memorable experience. It also captures the atmosphere of the 90s incredibly well. If I had to describe my feelings about this game with a single song, it would be "Natalie" by Milk & Bone. Of course, the game has its flaws, but I loved it despite them, perhaps even because of some of them. Together, they create a unique and unforgettable experience. After all, this is not just a game to me. It feels like another life that you want to fully immerse yourself in. Thank you forever, Don't Nod.

this game was so incredible, i cried and then booked a tattoo the next day. yes the tattoo is based on the game,
If you love this style of game in general, or are a young person, you may get a lot out of this. If you are mainly here to chase the highs of Life is Strange 1 (which I liked) or Life is Strange 2 (which I adored), I think you’ll be disappointed – and I played those within the last couple of years, so this isn’t nostalgia. Speaking of nostalgia, despite being ages with the adult characters in the game, and teenage in the 90s, Lost Records triggered no feelings of nostalgia. It triggered no emotional connection at all. I was looking forward to playing a middle-aged character for a change, but those sections exist only to prompt flashbacks and the characters are two dimensional. The teenagers aren’t much better. I enjoyed that the protagonist was quite awkward and had less popular interests – it’s fun to experience different perspectives. However, making the ‘right’ dialogue choices boiled down to bending my character to each of my friend’s viewpoints to build relationships with them, undermining the sense my character was a role to play (other than a people pleaser). The other characters are largely stereotypes (developers seem so focused on creating gamer type characters). It was difficult to know what dialogue option the game thought was ‘right’. Usually you can tell in games – choices lean good/evil or towards/away from a particular worldview. I would try to be diplomatic, then find I had decreased a relationship. I got a disappointing ending. Not that in the end your choices make much difference to the story, only to your friendships. The real time dialogue added to the frustration. I’d be busy with a filming task set by the game, then see I was missing triggering a dialogue option (for which you must be in the right position near a character), then by the time I’d got there, the option would be gone. I liked the filming mechanic, but it didn’t integrate with how the story evolved – the story could just as easily have happened without it. There was the beginning of a fantastic idea there. There was also far too much of the tedious find something in the environment sort of ‘gameplay’. I found the writing quite poor overall, and some of the voice acting was dodgy, with gushy, over the top dialogue and at times very slow speech with long pauses between words. It all sounded so unnatural, it was very immersion breaking. Added to this, I had performance issues even with the graphics settings reduced (though my graphics card is close to the recommended spec and my laptop exceeds all other recommend specs) and technical issues (such as RS sometimes only working in filming mode and not when just trying to move normally). On the plus side, it looked great and the soundtrack was excellent as usual. But overall, it’s a lot of money for something no better than watching an average Netflix YA show.
I'M balling my eyes out!! what an incredible story!! Y'all get me everytime!!! Please keep making games!!!
