Within two days, I finished this game. I enjoyed the pacing of tape one because it helped me resonate with the characters and understand each one individually. The game was an incredible experience, and I am excited to try different routes in the game because of how replayable it seems! To see such a raw teenage friend group portrayed in the game makes me incredibly happy, especially as someone who grew up with nerdy interests and who was part of multiple friend groups that were reminiscent of the main one in this game, especially after moving to a new district in high school. I am glad to find a game that I can see myself in so strongly, and I heavily recommend this game to anyone who enjoys deep connections between characters that you can heavily affect with your choices, and I certainly recommend playing this game without a guide to get the full experience.

I like the game, the characters, the dialogues, the setting, pretty much everything about it. However the save system is like a middle finger to all the people that sometimes just need to leave their PC suddenly and immediately, or for whom the game would simply crash. There is no way to manually save the game, even by quitting and the checkpoints are way too far from each other. It depends how much time you spend exploring, but for me it easily reaches 30 minutes between the saves. And I already had it several times that I had to quit before I could save, so I had to replay the whole 30 minutes section again. But as if that wasn't enough - none of the dialogues are skippable. You can only skip some cutscenes, which are very few in comparison. Just because of that I can't recommend this game to anyone. I don't know why the developers couldn't be bothered to make the saving work the same as in 99% of games and allow to skip the dialogues. Why would you force the players to listen through it anyway? If you are doing a checkpoint system, then just trigger a save after every interaction and dialogue - otherwise let the players save whenever they want or AT LEAST when they exit the game.

Life is strange) 5/5 or 10/10
Incredible
Don't Nod Montreal
I watched Vanillamace play it for a little bit and I was very curious to continue. I haven't finished it yet, but so far I like the story. I would definitely recommend this game to others. It's beautifully written and I want to play it again to make different choices to see how the story is different from how I've played it!
Rich, story-based game where your actions shape the story as you go. The graphics are excellent, the voice acting is top-tier, and the soundtrack is epic. Beware: the onion-cutting ninjas will get you. IYKYK. Play it if you enjoy immersive storytelling with a diverse cast of characters and a great story.
