Here's my take for the game after playing it for almost an hour. Controls: You can't change the controls. Floaty Movement: The sensation of floating while moving can be disorienting. Precise movement mechanics are crucial for immersion and gameplay enjoyment. Lack of Audio Feedback: The absence of footstep sounds when moving through different terrains (like grass or sand) and no water splash sounds upon contact with water can significantly impact the game’s realism. Audio cues enhance the overall experience. It's funny that you get a clapping sound when giving food to the woman you're with yet other sound effects are somehow missing. Cooking Mechanic: Holding items over the fire with the mouse for cooking feels like a chore. Streamlining this process could improve the overall gameplay flow. Random Events: While random events can add variety to a game, it’s essential that they have a meaningful impact. If they don’t significantly affect gameplay, players might perceive them as negligible distractions. Played till I managed to build the crafting table and water collector. There's not a lot of stuff to craft and I think those stuff will not really improve the game as you're fine without them. I have no desire to play the game anymore, though it is cheap it is not fun and just plain boring.
NO. it's bare minimum, survival. You just bring material to your "companion" and she builds stuff in predetermine places. The goal is to survive 21 days or to have the highest score in the Ranking. You unlock tools to help but honestly once you have the axe you are good to go. Very boring, bugs, badly implemented mechanics etc. Just skip this.
Well when I wishlisted this promise was somewhat different. And then the survival part of it is not even that interesting...
I did not enjoy my experience with this title. https://youtu.be/UOZlrG8iWmI
Stick to stranded deep if i was you,.. yes its cheap... but is it good? No. I will play again after some updates and alter review if my view changes.
I agree with the other reviews, and will also update review if things change.
I had this game on my Wish list for over a year, actually got an email yesterday and thought about it at work. So I was surprised to see the negative reviews and had to do my own research. spoiler: I give this game a thumbs up Here is what I experienced on something a group of cool people made, spending days writing code and shading pixels and legal matters: I found my settings to be medium after loading up the tutorial and selecting the first character, a girl who reminded me a lot of someone I once dated. same disorders and same hair. I wasn't expecting to play as a girl however i still took my shirt off while the game loaded a normal load time. Her companion was a female who looked just like my ex (but were still friends) ex wife! There were sounds! birds and the waves on the beach. I pressed crouch and thought "oh its one of those games" controls were easy and the game is xbox controller compatible. The island was not very big and i did not see any fish or animals. There was crabs and banana's and coconuts. It was the tutorial. I was shirtless. They had underwear that was surprisingly dirty for less than day 1. I liked how my companion was the stay at home crafting station, it made more time for exploring and getting a sharp stick from the wild was just that! it was not a chore at all. As for cooking, It was fun to turn our crabs over the fire. I caught one after i grabbed two sticks, one for me and one for ma lady companion. Little did I know she just sits on her pleasant-to-look-at fat azz all day. So I hunted for crabs and missed my first throw of a stick. I got it with the second stick. It was glorious knowing I had passed some kind of test (the tutorial). I also am so tired from working i felt just like I was high and at this point in the game I knew this would be fun to play! I'm a fan of naked and afraid and this game does it well so far. I hope there are updates in the future, I can have fun for hours with just a pen and paper so maybe thats why i like this game too. I burnt the crab and ate it anyways, broke open a coconut with my mouth, found a pair of sunglasses on the island, then went to look for fish. As i dipped into the water...I heard a splash. One of those negative reviews mention no splash fx. While my companion spoke to me she never clapped however there was splashing! I noticed a random event happening: Asian Giant Hornets had entered on the island. So I went to sleep and...still sleeping? The sleep was not simulated and rather lengthy. Idk if it should be improved or not...its realistic all right as you eagerly wait for sun rise however you could also use those times as a break for snacks. probably something could happen in the middle of the night too. Never saw one bug. I think it would also be a nice atmosphere addition if there were gross spiders occasionally that you could also eat. Overall: This game has replay value, easy controls, and gave me authentic feelings of naked and afraid. I do recommend this game if you want to simulate basic survival and the health bars are not annoyingly leaky, there is ample time to prepare and apparently only 1 rock needed to craft them all! my rock tool never broke. coconuts are annoying visually to know IRL theres better easier ways to get coconuts than chop down the entire tree. Also unfortunate you have to destroy banana trees when they are at ground level and all they'd have to do is grab one, so I tried to do just that. There's 2 different grabs and neither one got me a banana. Only after i destroyed the whole banana bush of a tree did 3 out of 20 bananas land on the ground. Too bad a spider didn't crawl ontop of one as i bent down to pick it up. As i reluctantly tapped out of the tutorial like it suggested i do (even though i wanted to finish 21 days with sunglasses) I thought "wow that was probably 3 days or so in game time". That was one solid day out of 21 in game. I blame the sleep for making me think way more happened, like it was that long. I WILL BE PLAYING THIS GAME OFTEN. THANK YOU
Direkt wieder zurück gegeben . Es ist irgendwie.........garnichts!!!!!!!
First person with no legs, seriosly? *will review this later when it gets some updates, at this point game feels like it needs one. No idea why devs rushed with release.
lange auf das Game gewartet aber wieder zurück gegeben . irgend wie nicht so gewesen wie gedacht .. fühlt sich an wie ein EA Titel nichts ganzes aber auch nichts halbes..... sehr schade eigentlich
