Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm not sure why the ratings for this game are so low -- granted, I am only on chapter 6, but so far this has been a decent game combining tactical battles with some relationship management. The writing is subpar at times, but it makes up for that with charming characters and political intrigue. If you're a fan of SRPGs, I recommend it.
First of all: It is a great game and worth the price and time. Despite that, I understand some of the negative comments. Lost Eidolons feels quite linear with its story and fights, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad — it just has to be your thing. There are only two things I definitely miss: 1. deeper relationships between the characters and 2. more diversity in fights (mainly conquering a fortress feels repetitive). FAZIT: Considering all that, it is a good game, like I said. Without spoiling too much: the overall design is great, especially with the medieval theme. You can definitely follow the story and won’t get lost. There are several great characters with understandable fates. Just keep in mind: Lost Eidolons misses some depths what makes it somewhat predictable, AND MOST IMPORTANT: IT IS NOT A 60–70€ GAME!! So of course it doesn’t reach the quality of, for example, Fire Emblem: Three Houses. And let's be honest it's on discount most of the time anyways which makes it even more worth buying.
Actual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ why is there so much talking
Fire Emblem for adults
The dialogue and plot are painful. Extremely forced nonsense lines and actions that just make no sense. Like breaking out of a trap situation, grabbing a knife off the ground to assassinate the corrupt noble? No, just kidding, he's just going to threaten the noble for a second, then get arrested without resistance. There was no point to that at all. Also playing from the start with permadeath and hard mode is just impossible.
Horribly written. I’m only an hour into the story, but it’s so bad that I had to leave a negative review. I’ll come back and update this if something else makes up for the writing.
I'll start this out by saying that I'm a huge fan of Fire Emblem. So anything that scratches that itch is good in my opinion. I'm honestly surprised it has such mixed reviews, even with my bias. It wasn't a GOTY candidate, sure. But not every game I actually manage to beat (I have several games I've bought and literally never played lol, blame the ADHD) will be. If the devs read this a couple of years out from this games release, I for one want a true sequel. (not that Veil of the Witch is a bad game in it's own right) I think there's potential here for more, not with the current cast of characters obviously. We really only get to see 2 (if I remember correctly) Eidolons in the original game, and they're really not all that fleshed out. I don't even think their true forms are ever pictured. Might be wrong about that, but the point remains. Playable Eidolons, anyone? It just makes sense. I guess characters being in an Eidolon "state" would be easier to implement and less game breaking than literal gods. (maybe change their form or abilities, kinda like FE Engage) I think that the Eidolons themselves being playable would be fun. Perhaps a bigger threat forced them to come out of the shadows to ally with humans? I will say that the one scene that has stuck with me is the one of Eden in the rain calling down lightning. That was awesome. I'd say more of the above, a sequel, and a Switch two port would be great. If you're on the fence about the negative reviews, but like Fire Emblem and want something with a more realistic art style and being on PC you really can't do much better.
