No option for in between up positive and negative, which is where I would put this. If you are experienced with rogue-lites, this game isn't an engaging challenge. At least not in it's current form. Maybe the game is aimed at introducing non-rogue players to the genre, and that type of gamer might find a fun challenge here, IDK.

[/b] I can still recommend it for the price, but you should know what it is before purchasing. To summarize: - 4 classes, 3 of which in a party each run = [b] very low gameplay variety [/b] and replayability - [b] Progression is very limited [/b] and short-lived, after [b] 15 hours [/b] the game is probably completely done -- This makes the game feel like a demo of Slay the Spire, in terms of content -- Only 3 tiers of difficulty means the game is done after 3 successful runs --- No new items to unlock through successful runs - not much reason to play after defeating highest difficulty - UI needs a lot of work, relating to shortcuts and viewing elements in certain windows (compared to StS) - [b] Inventory management elements [/b] are not great compared to Backpack Battles (QoL and functionality) -- Depth of inventory management gameplay too is very limited compared to Backpack Battles -- Bad balance as well - the strongest builds are about 1 aura with many small items - Interesting design (combining multiple rogue-lite & RPG elements) and pleasant aesthetics
