Loop is a calm, reflective puzzle-adventure that invites the player into a world built more on mood and visual texture than on traditional storytelling. Developed and published by Team Chili, it presents itself as a quiet journey through an abstract temple filled with shifting architecture, glowing pathways, and dreamlike structures that evoke a sense of wandering through memory rather than a physical place. There is no spoken dialogue, no explicit narrative exposition, and no heavy-handed guidance. Instead, the game leans on atmosphere, color, and gentle pacing to make each step feel introspective. You are accompanied throughout by a small spirit guide—a silent companion whose presence adds a sense of warmth and quiet support as you progress deeper through the temple’s layered spaces. The strength of Loop lies in its visual and emotional design rather than its complexity. The art style is deliberately minimalist: soft lines, restrained color palettes, and simple geometric forms combine to create an environment that feels both mysterious and soothing. Light plays a central role in shaping the mood of each area—soft pulses, subtle gradients, and floating motes help create an ambiance that feels meditative rather than tense. Rather than overwhelming the player, Loop’s world feels like a place built for breathing room, a space where the absence of noise is not a limitation but part of the experience. The game often feels closer to walking through a quiet museum exhibit or a stylized diorama than exploring a conventional puzzle dungeon. Its puzzle structure matches this tone. Most challenges revolve around interacting with simple patterns, aligning symbols, guiding energy, or manipulating environmental elements in small but meaningful ways. There are no timers, no fail states, and no escalating pressure—just a series of puzzles designed to encourage observation and patience. They typically require you to look carefully at the environment and understand its internal logic, but they rarely demand the kind of intense problem-solving that might interrupt the game’s gentle flow. This makes Loop exceptionally approachable: even players unfamiliar with traditional puzzle games can ease into its rhythm without frustration. The satisfaction it offers comes from maintaining momentum and watching the temple respond to your actions, rather than from conquering difficult mechanics. The emotional impact of the game is subtle yet purposeful. As you move through the temple, small visual cues and environmental shifts hint at an underlying theme of cycles, memory, and renewal. The spirit guide is a constant but understated presence, and its behavior adds a feeling of companionship without spelling anything out. Nothing is explained directly, leaving players to interpret the symbolism as they wish. That interpretive freedom can be enriching for players who enjoy ambiguity and atmosphere—the game becomes something personal, shaped by the viewer’s own reflections and emotional state. However, this same vagueness means that players who prefer clear narrative threads or concrete storytelling may find the experience too abstract or hollow. The game’s limitations stem from its deliberate simplicity. While the visuals are charming and the ambience is consistent, the mechanical variety remains narrow. After several levels, the general flow of puzzles begins to repeat, and the sense of discovery rests more on shifting scenery than on learning new systems. For players looking for longer sessions of mechanical depth or tightly designed logic challenges, Loop may feel too light or too brief. Additionally, the minimalist direction means environmental interactions can feel sparse—there are few surprises or dramatic shifts in momentum, which may leave some players wanting more dynamism. Still, these boundaries are intentional rather than accidental; the game’s identity centers on restraint, not expansion. On a technical level, Loop performs steadily and supports a wide range of systems without demanding much from the hardware. Controls are smooth, the interface is unobtrusive, and the overall experience is accessible to just about anyone. Its gentle soundscape—soft tones, ambient hums, and understated musical flourishes—helps tie together the atmosphere. Nothing in Loop is meant to distract; everything is tuned to produce calm immersion. Ultimately, Loop succeeds as a small, introspective journey—a meditative puzzle game that values mood over difficulty and reflection over spectacle. It is not a game for players seeking dramatic twists, complex mechanics, or high-stakes challenge. Instead, it is for those who appreciate slow pacing, quiet contemplation, and the simple pleasure of exploring a beautiful, minimal world with a silent companion at their side. It is modest in scope, restrained in its ambitions, and confident in what it chooses to be: a peaceful loop of movement, light, and subtle emotion that lingers gently once you step away. Rating: 7/10
Pretty ok puzzle game.
----------- ENGLISH ----------------------- Loop is a relaxing puzzle game that, without the need for dialogue or complex cinematics, tells a story about a journey to break a cycle of pupils and their masters against chaos. It has nothing to envy to other games like Journey or Monument Valley. The game's art is a marvel, simple and all its elements are easy to distinguish. The puzzles are simple, as it is not looking for an extreme complexity, but rather, to give you a time where you are with your thoughts. In general it doesn't have any flaws that worsen the game experience (I had a moment when I got softlocked in a puzzle, but I think it was a bit my fault). In short, Loop is a good game if you want to spend some time to disconnect and watch a little story well told. You can see the work that has gone into it.
I enjoyed every aspect of Loop. Thank you devs!!
If you really like relaxing games with beautiful music and atmosphere where you uncover ancient truths through a series of puzzles, this game is for you. A very fun game made by a very talented team!
Such a wonderful and unique puzzle game. Is the game a bit too simple, yes. Is that ok, YES. This game does everything right when it comes to being a relaxing turn your brain off type of game that also makes you think about the what if and what does this mean, whats the message behind this. I love this game from the breathtaking art style, to the lovely sound track and the wonderful narrative the game is able to tell. I found it really fun and interesting how the AI mentor was there to help in every puzzle and how you had to work with your mentor to get through each challenge, even if it cuts the work the player needs to do in half it kinda makes you feel like you are actually playing with another player who understands exactly what needs to be done and how to do it. my only complaint about the game is the menu icons, due to the lack of text its kinda really difficult to understand what some of the settings in the menu do eg the controller icon. Other than that though well done! Such a Wonderful Game.
Short and easy. Most of the puzzles are very straight forward and linear. Hard to get stuck. I enjoyed the clean art style and relaxing game play.
I received this game as a gift from a friend and I coudn't be more thankful. This is a beautifully designed game, with an astonishing art design. The puzzles become more challenging as you progress, and the story behind is so compelling!
:D -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------] (ENGLISH) I've often heard that good and simple is twice as good, and Loop is beautiful! It is a single player puzzle game similar to games like Journey, but with a companion, with challenges similar in style to those we could find in "Brothers: a tale of two sons" or without going further to the multiplayer of "Portal 2", being accompanied by the figure of the mentor, NPC that acts on its own as a companion to solve these puzzles. Its visual style captivates you in the first seconds and its music accompanies perfectly, without being abusive or very intrusive, but that is obvious in images and trailers, if we talk about their strengths less visible First of all it is worth mentioning the tutorial, although it has some point to improve in view of the PC version as changes in the interface that has been designed for mobile devices is really impressive as thanks to an excellent level design is not necessary any video, text or pop-up messages, just know what to do and how to move forward at all times. But for me its greatest strength is this NPC that follows us and helps us with the tests, since being a game quote unquote cooperative but for a player could be a firecracker that moves slowly or does not know where to go as in many other games where they become heavy and a burden, however it is not at all the case, anticipating the movement of the player in a very natural way and giving small clues on how to complete the puzzles where it is placed, keeping the course of the game fluid and avoiding the frustration that many of us get to feel when we get stuck in a test. It's a game that anyone can enjoy or use to have a good time and it doesn't last long, a point I prefer to titles that drag out their content with empty side quests or stupid collectibles. It's not perfect, but Loop goes to the point and achieves its goal, so I can only recommend it. I hope you like it as much as I do !!!! :D
