I like games like this, Myst was one of my favourite games of that era. This game had some potential but doesn't live up to it. First the graphics. resolution tops out at something much too low for a game released in late 2022, this isn't the end of the world, but it's just one of the smallest of many issues in this game. There are issues with how it renders for me, lines through everything diagonally across my screen that don't exist in any other game. Some of the graphical issues made it harder to play, anything written in game was hard to read, and for a few puzzles (notably the morse code translation) you needed to read in game writing. Control issues. My biggest gripe was the mine cart section, every other part of the game when you have to push a lever, you use the mouse, click and drag the lever, but here it uses the movement controls. I spent ten minutes trying to figure it out, seeing if I had missed some way to unlock the cart before I tried just pressing move while in it. This isn't the same system for moving the mag-lev, there you grab the lever with the mouse and push it forward, but.., Game breaking bug. The game broke right after the mag-lev section, when it was moving, the game had me looking down, when I got out of the chair, the game kept spinning, I saved and reloaded to try and fix this, and it loaded me off the map in the water where you're not supposed to be able to go. And all of this took far too little time. I'm an hour and a half in and the lighthouse seems like the end game (2 achievements left to earn) If the game hadn't bugged out I would probably finish before the 2 hour mark, particularly because a lot of that hour and a half was idle time while the game was just allowed to sit (one of the reasons I like games like this, outside of active puzzle solving you can just safely sit there and do things when you are free to do them) The puzzles were easy for a game like this, too few and far between mostly, I'm giving up on this game for the second time, probably for good. Bad resolution, bad controls, and bad bugs. And it's a shame, the look, feel and lore of the game showed promise, reminded me of The Witness, the last game like this I played, in a lot of ways, and was better in lore I think, but in all the other ways it far paled in that comparison

The positives: This game is very bright and colorful with an interesting looking environment The negatives: The controls when interacting with a lot of puzzles is awful. The camera might jump to face the ceiling when trying to move a lever, or it might not let you actually move that lever the entire way you are supposed to on the first few tries. Some of the puzzles are glitchy and don't "solve" despite having all the right bits in place in the right order, meaning you have to completely undo what you did and do them again. The ending puzzle is a huge letdown and the story ending feels out of place. This game wants to be the Witness. I can only assume the developer is new to making games, or at least new to making 3D games. At the time of this writing I couldn't verify that because the developer's website is suspended by their hosting company I really do not recommend this game at all. I would recommend anyone interested in this game to get The Witness or Talos Principle instead
A decent, but very short first person puzzle adventure game (took me 108 minutes to complete, accidentally got all achievements too). Has some interesting puzzles I've not seen used often and has a decent, if a bit too forced, atmosphere/world storytelling. It's clear that the devs wanted to make a bigger game but probably ran out of funding making it. The credits say "To be continued", so who knows, maybe they'll make a continuation some day. Get it if you're a fan of the genre.
A very beautiful and atmospheric game with not too difficult puzzles and a mysterious story. I recommend it to those who love puzzles and haven't been on vacation in a long time. I really hope for a sequel.
I enjoyed this quite a bit! It is short, but the art and story is very well done, and I think the puzzles were perfectly balanced for me. Not too tough and not too easy. I look forward to playing the next game whenever you make it!
Kredolis is a pretty good adventure game with escape-room like puzzle mechanics. The puzzles were a mix of moderate and easy. There was, however, one puzzle towards the end that was pretty badly clued (by consensus, based on a couple of different threads in the Steam discussion group) that I needed help with. The game is quite pretty and has good production values, and it was pleasant to be immersed in that world. I had no problem running it on in full screen on my widescreen 4K monitor (3840x1600). The game is played in first-person perspective with smooth motion (i.e. like any modern first person shooter, not node-based or slideshow like the original Myst) and performance while moving is fine, though I have a beefy GPU. The only performance issue I had is the game would often pause for a second or two after an interaction with a puzzle element, so if you continue to move the mouse during this pause, when the pause is over, your view will snap to where your mouse ended up, which is jarring and disorienting. The save game system is also confusing and/or buggy. It ostensibly offers 3 save slots, but I never quite figured it out how to properly use them. I had a near-miss where I thought all my progress was wiped due to confusion whether the game was actually saving vs loading when I wanted to do a save or a load. After that near-miss, I just relied on the autosave-on-quitting and continuing from the same save slot each time I restarted the game.
I liked this game. The story was interesting, although I was completely lost until the end. The scrolls and notes were on the cryptic side. I liked progression based on how many batteries you had and I also Iiked the puzzles for the most part. I also enjoyed the adventure. I never got a bug while playing. Hope there is a continuation:)
My thought: RAW. I could deal with visual bugs, but when I got softlocked by being teleported back to the starting location from a closed mine, that's when I decided I don't want to force myself anymore. It's just a set of uninspired puzzles and "a story". Great for a solo project, a developer's portfolio, but not as a separate product.
