Pokud si někdo hru chce koupit třeba i proto, že hra nabízí češtinu, tak to nedělejte. Ten překlad nedává žádný smysl a je i špatně implementovaný. Angličtina bude asi ok, ale tohle překlad opravdu není...
Fun with party members, managing multiple decks. Like most roguelike's that are floor or staged based the quality does seem to drop with the higher tier floors, the first floor is great, great free demo
Little Adventure Tale is a roguelike deckbuilding RPG developed and published by TheOilyGooseStudio that combines strategic card battles, party management, quest progression, and randomized adventures within a cheerful fantasy setting. While the game embraces many familiar concepts from modern deckbuilders, it introduces enough unique mechanics through its companion and guild systems to establish its own identity. The result is an experience that rewards planning, experimentation, and adaptability while maintaining an accessible and charming presentation. The story revolves around a classic fantasy objective: defeating the evil Lord Obradin. Rather than relying on elaborate narrative sequences or extensive dialogue, the game uses this goal as motivation for a series of increasingly challenging expeditions. The focus remains on gameplay rather than storytelling, but the fantasy world is filled with enough personality to make each run feel like part of a larger adventure. The colorful setting and lighthearted atmosphere help create a welcoming experience that contrasts nicely with the strategic depth found beneath the surface. What immediately distinguishes Little Adventure Tale from many other deckbuilders is its emphasis on companions. Players are not restricted to managing a single deck throughout their journey. Instead, they can recruit additional party members from the Guild, each bringing unique cards and abilities to the adventure. This creates a layered combat system where success depends not only on building a powerful main deck but also on understanding how different companion decks interact with one another. Managing multiple characters introduces additional complexity and opens the door to a wide variety of strategic possibilities. Combat is turn-based and revolves around careful card management. Every encounter requires players to consider resources, timing, and future turns rather than simply reacting to immediate threats. Enemy behavior, available cards, and party composition all influence decision-making. Because multiple decks can contribute to a battle, encounters often feel more dynamic than those found in simpler deckbuilders. Building effective combinations between companions becomes just as important as selecting strong cards individually. The deckbuilding system itself is one of the game's greatest strengths. With hundreds of available cards spread across multiple classes and companions, players have access to an enormous amount of customization. New cards can be acquired throughout a run, upgraded for greater effectiveness, and combined into specialized strategies. Whether focusing on aggressive attacks, defensive setups, support abilities, or synergistic card combinations, the game offers enough flexibility to support a wide range of playstyles. The Guild serves as a central hub that connects many of the game's systems. Here, players can recruit companions, prepare for future encounters, and accept optional quests. These quests add a compelling risk-and-reward element because they often provide substantial benefits while simultaneously increasing difficulty. Deciding whether to pursue additional challenges becomes an important strategic consideration, particularly during longer runs where resources may already be stretched thin. One particularly interesting mechanic involves reputation management. Companions are valuable resources rather than disposable units, and losing too many of them can negatively affect standing within the Guild. This creates consequences that extend beyond individual battles and encourages more thoughtful decision-making. Players must balance aggression with preservation, ensuring that long-term success is not sacrificed for short-term gains. Replayability is where Little Adventure Tale truly shines. Randomized encounters, diverse card pools, multiple character classes, companion combinations, events, relics, and quests ensure that each run develops differently. The game includes numerous player classes and companion archetypes, allowing players to experiment with countless strategies across repeated attempts. The amount of available content supports extensive replay value and makes discovery a constant part of the experience. Progression continues beyond simply completing a successful run. Higher difficulty levels become available through ascension-style challenges that introduce new obstacles and modifiers. These advanced modes encourage players to refine their understanding of the game's mechanics and push optimized builds to their limits. For those who enjoy mastering complex systems, the increased difficulty provides substantial long-term engagement. Visually, the game adopts a bright and inviting fantasy aesthetic. Character designs are appealing, environments are colorful, and combat information remains easy to read. The art style complements the game's lighter tone while ensuring that gameplay clarity is never compromised. Although the visuals are not especially elaborate, they effectively support the overall experience and contribute to the game's charm. The user interface also deserves praise. Managing multiple decks, companions, quests, upgrades, and resources could easily become overwhelming, but the game generally organizes information in a clear and understandable way. This helps newcomers learn the systems while still providing experienced players with the information necessary for advanced decision-making. Like many roguelikes, however, Little Adventure Tale occasionally struggles with balance between skill and randomness. Certain runs naturally provide stronger opportunities than others depending on available rewards and card offerings. While adaptability is a central part of the genre, some players may occasionally feel limited by unfavorable circumstances. Fortunately, the variety of available strategies usually provides opportunities to recover from setbacks. The learning curve may also be intimidating for newcomers. Managing several decks simultaneously requires more attention than traditional deckbuilders, and understanding how different systems interact can take time. Early runs often involve experimentation and mistakes before the deeper strategic possibilities become fully apparent. Despite these minor shortcomings, Little Adventure Tale succeeds as an engaging and highly replayable roguelike deckbuilder. Its companion-focused mechanics, extensive customization options, meaningful risk-reward systems, and strong replay value help distinguish it from many competitors within the genre. The game consistently rewards creative thinking and strategic planning while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that makes repeated playthroughs enjoyable. For fans of card-based strategy games, roguelike progression systems, and party-building mechanics, Little Adventure Tale offers a rewarding adventure packed with meaningful decisions and endless experimentation. Its charming presentation conceals a surprisingly deep gameplay system that continues to reveal new possibilities with every run, making it a worthwhile experience for both genre veterans and newcomers willing to invest time into mastering its mechanics. Rating: 6/10
Great surprisingly addictive roguelike deckbuilder. Has some unique features not seen in other ones: -A party system. (Play up to 3 characters at once, with separate decks and mana) -Cool character customizable, with visual progression as you get more and more meta level ups/account levels up, unlocking new weapons/armors/etc to customize your character further each run. Give the demo a go and if you like it definitely buy this one. Demo is quite fun and even has its's own set of achievements.
