as much as i love max and chloe, this has to be my fav lis game. idc if im late lol
Good game
Okay, let us address the elephant in the room... the choices in the game. Yes... this game, unlike others in the LIS series is on rails. The writers of this narrative clearly had a destination in mind when they wrote it and very little was going to deter it from that destination. I know this is a MAJOR critique of the game for most people. Most people... not me. I admit, I am different... I play each of these games with a walkthrough up and I look at every choice before I make it. Why? Because I want the best ending. But Gael you say... that is the draw of LIS in that this no best ending. Really? For LIS 2... yes, there was no best ending (though I would argue Parting Ways despite its significant flaw was the best ending narratively but neither here nor there) but BTS, LIS 1 and this game... 100% there was so I do not have an issue with that. The thing I have issue with... is the length of the story. The problem is... as a writer myself, I am not really certain where they could have added something to the story without it being filler or bloat. So while I take issue with it... I only take that issue because I wanted more... thankfully there are multiple companion books to give me that. Alex is an incredible character... I admit, I am biased being an abandoned foster child myself. I connect with this character more than anyone else in the LIS universe because I understand what she is feeling... at least about the foster system. I also love her powers... the ability to read and feel the emotions of others... empathy is an amazing thing. I am SO glad we got Steph back to. Of all the minor/side characters we have met in the LIS universe, she was the one that really left the biggest impression. I bought the Steph's Story novel and read it before playing this (something I HIGHLY recommend everyone doing) and while there are some minor inconsistencies... it still makes what happens in this game all the better. The ending is another area of complaint people have and I disagree. I actually love what the narrative does here. I cannot say more in a review or it will spoil it but to my writer's heart I knew precisely what they were doing and I loved it to pieces. All in all... the fact that I wanted more story being the only critique I have of it is why I recommend it. The (in my... and the writers of the companion books' opinion) cannon romance from the story is incredible, the main character is truly someone you cannot to and feel her challenges and the rest of the support cast truly matter to you as you go through the story.
amazing
Cute. Not my favourite LiS game, but a cute story.
Buen juego
