Hardcore and realistic; LiF is a Medieval multiplayer sandbox RPG, with free terraforming, a rich crafting system and preset and modular building construction. With engaging survival aspects, no target physics-based combat and a unique formation system - along with numerous other features - LiF is not for the faint of heart!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

«ЦЕ РОСІЙСЬКА ГРА. Купуючи її (чи навіть просто додавши до бажаного), ви підтримуєте ворогів нашої країни.»
I really wish Steam had a neutral option for this one. Life is Feudal: Your Own was genuinely great in its prime. The systems were deep and unforgiving, and the roleplay servers were fantastic — player-run towns, politics, wars, and long-term stories made the world feel alive in a way few games ever managed. Sadly, that time has passed. Development slowed, updates stopped, and the playerbase faded away. Today the game feels largely forgotten, and without an active community, its biggest strengths just don’t shine anymore. If you played during its peak, it’s easy to look back fondly. But for anyone starting now, it’s hard to recommend — not because it was bad, but because its moment is gone.

Ok, very honest, I lovee survival open world craft games and I actually do love this game. It apparently had such an amazing potential but the UX designer went like "I hate people." Bad user experience and terribly designed interface tortures you for the sake of realism. I'll keep this review negative until devs accept the fact that making everything manual and hard to use doesn't make the game "realistic." Thanks for reading my ted talk
No NPCs, if it had them I would probably play it, but as it's very lonely game, it's not worth it. Btw MMO version is terrible, I am still angry on you devs!
I played this game years ago, but I will not be playing again until it's no longer a Money grab. I loved playing this but the only problem I found was that it was near impossible to play alone or with a small group. Now that there's a subscription to play the game? What is this nonsense? I'm disappointed with how this game is run now. As it is now I would not recommend anyone getting this game. It was very very grindy (I enjoyed the challenge but some people in my group hated it) it was extremely challenging to figure out what you were supposed to do to progress. Only vague clues. So while I used to enjoy this game, it's not been updated in any significant way and is now a cash grab.
welp i gave this game a second try but its still poorly made no one should take 4 hours trying to flatten ground to make their starter hut.
they ran with our money, sold it to people who wants to make it a pay2win shameful game, stau away as far as possible
❄️ Eternal Winter, or a Lifetime of Terraforming
I have respect for the game and for those who genuinely love it, but... this review is strictly about solo and local co-op (I did not play multiplayer). For that experience — Not Recommended.
🔴☠️ Dead since 2018
The original studio shut down. The current owners clearly don't care about this project — no patches, no fixes, and there never will be. The game is frozen in its buggy state.
🔴👤 Barebones character creator
Three faces per three races, barely any hairstyles, minimal customization — even here it's obvious the game was abandoned halfway.
🟡🏆 Forget legitimate 100% achievements — it's hell
Some achievements are broken due to a developer bug: skills were merged, but the old achievements were never removed. The rest are a masochistic grind in solo. One of them simply requires 100 real hours in-game — I had to leave my PC AFK 😴💤. GM console helps with most, but for that sweet 100% ribbon you'll need "workarounds" of a certain kind — just so you know.
🔴🕳️ Terrain leveling, digging, and searching simulator
Gameplay is tons of dirt. Preparing a building site takes an eternity even on flat ground. Finding ore is a trial; digging down to it is hell. Tunnels and ladders form crooked, and there is no fix: either wait for a cave-in or dig somewhere else. Your shovel is your best friend.
🔴🌨️ Endless winter that cannot be cured
The season cycle broke — eternal winter set in. The GM console is powerless, and I frankly don't want to dig through game files for a "minor thing" that should just work. After 100+ hours winter finally turned to spring on its own, but not being able to fix it with normal tools is a serious flaw. In the end, it's not a medieval sandbox — it's a DiCaprio simulator 🥶❄️, just without the Oscar at the end.
🔴🐌 Built for a crowd — solo is punishment
There are as many skills as there should be players. Leveling is painfully slow even at 1000% boost. Some skills (like "Formation Training") literally cannot be leveled without other people. In 100 hours with max animal spawn settings, I never once saw a horse, cow, or chicken — I had to spawn them via console. This isn't searching; it's tedious waiting.
🔴⛓️ Absurd recipe chains
Want a drying rack for hides? You need bone glue, which requires Animal Lore and Hunting. In reality, a drying rack is just sticks; here it's artificial complexity. A house takes a million years; chainmail armor takes a billion. Not hardcore — sadism.
🔴🏹 Ranged combat — a necessity turned torture
Without a bow or sling you can't get hides and bones — you simply can't catch the animals. Ranged combat is mandatory for progression, but the implementation is awful. Even with a skill near 100, aiming and hitting is a lottery. At low levels, hunting is a circus and leveling is misery.
🟡🎵 Atmospheric music you'll quickly wear out
The soundtrack is good, but there is very little of it: 10 peaceful tracks, 3 combat tracks in the files — I never heard two of them. The single combat track is no masterpiece. Anyone will get sick of even the best music if they're shoveling endlessly.
🟡🛠️ GM console — a saving grace, but not for everything
It helps with most achievements and spawning, but it's limited: can't change seasons, can't fix tunnel bugs. Only usable in solo or with a direct connection. On a server — I dread to think how you'd solve these problems. The temptation to abuse the console is massive.

Maybe in multiplayer the game reveals a different side, but in solo and local co-op it's an abandoned, buggy sandbox with sadistic grind. Once promising and immersive, today it's just torment. Not hardcore. This is sadism. After 100+ hours — today I DO NOT RECOMMEND 👎
