"May you find your book in this place." Combat between the guests and the librarians breaks out as if it were on a stage. Defeated guests turn into books, and the Library grows onward. And eventually, get your hands on… The one singular, perfect book.
Roland singlehandedly warped my OCs' designs moving forward.
Game is hard, ultra-harder for people who have never touched a deck-builder/battler in their life (like me lel), but I do think it is still a fun time-sink to figure out builds yourself and beat the game with the dog water cards and pages you bring each fight. Technically, this is a sequel to Lobotomy Corporation, but you don't really need to play that to play this. You'd (probably) get by by just having a passive knowledge of what happened in the previous game. Library of Ruina's story is not wholly unique, but the way that it is conveyed just makes it really shine uniquely to me compared to similar stories that incorporate the same story beats. Its story is nothing special,
as one of the characters of this game would say
, but I was just really compelled with certain characters in it. I love this game and I really like Roland, Angela and Hod. Hod Edit: only reason why i had so many hours in this game is because i had to back track with cards and grind, and that i also had to revisit certain lore stuff to have my friend keep up with the story of the game. depending on your skill-level, you could beat this game in less than 50 hours.

This game is, without exaggeration, phenomenal. Amazing story, awesome art, combat that feels smooth, complex, and easy-to-understand at the same time. I will warn you that this game is not easy (ask me how I only beat the game after 120 hrs lol), but the payoff is some of the best catharsis I have ever felt (even more so than Elden Ring) TLDR: Very hard but very rewarding
