About
Waves of enemies attack you and your opponents. Build defenses to survive. Send mercenaries to smash through your opponents' defenses. Scale your economy to become a late game beast. Like Chess, every match is familiar enough to reward game knowledge, but divergent enough to require adaptation.
Each match, you receive a random roll of 6 fighters, from 12 million possible combinations. Every fighter has strengths & weaknesses. Some secure strategic advantages early game, while others have powerful late-game synergies. Your skill lies in your ability to make the most of the hand you're dealt.

With 9+ years worth of data-driven, monthly balance patches, Legion TD 2 is perhaps the most balanced competitive game in the world. Rather than introduce disruptive changes every year to shake things up, Legion TD 2 has opted to chase perfecting a healthy meta. If you take a break for a couple years and come back, your same openings will probably still be viable.

Party as 1-8 players. Play 2v2 and 4v4 matchmade games.

Legion TD 2 is the sequel to the 2nd most popular Warcraft 3 mod of all time, Legion TD. Also known as Squadron TD in Starcraft 2. The top 5 most played Warcraft 3 mods are DotA, Legion TD, Wintermaul, Footmen Frenzy, and Life of a Peasant. Legion TD is proud to hold the silver medal.

Legion TD 2 launched in early access in 2017, and has received major updates, quality of life, and balance changes every single month since then. After fully launching in October 2021, we believe it has grown to become the most replayable, balanced, competitive strategy experience out there. Unlike other indie multiplayer games, Legion TD 2's playerbase has stood the test of time, having been active & steady for nearly 10 years and counting.

It’s a great game for casual players as well as hardcore gamers. I don’t need to play every day or even every month to be able to return and have a great fun time :)
Great mix of strategy and teamwork. Every match feels different thanks to the huge variety of units and builds. Easy to learn, hard to master, and very addictive. Definitely one of the best multiplayer tower defense games out there! 👍

I played LTD 15 years ago and I'm still able to play LTD now, which is a great achievement in itself for a small custom map originally created within another game. LTD 2 has a lot of potential, but the execution is like "well, at least they tried, and at least it exists". For what it is and how it looks, the game is optimized poorely and doesn't run well on lower-end devices, which is a big con for a strategy game where you do around 20 clicks per minute. This game is perfect for bored office workers or security guards to play on the background, but for most of them it's not possible since you have to have a mid-range PC to run it. The character models and environments look dated and uninspired. Stylized graphics, goofiness of character concepts, and obvious lack of high skill of the artist who designed them definitely don't mix well. You'll get used to those models eventually, but the first impressions are definitely mixed, especially when you compare LTD 2's models to those of original Warcraft 3 map. The best addition, at least for me, is the PvE missions that you can go through in co-op with your buddy. I've always wanted something like that when playing original LTD with sweaty veterans who would constantly flame and tell you what to do. Overall, it's great that LTD's gameplay loop is still alive and accessible via Steam within a functioning client, but everything around it within this version of the game is 100% meh

As a solo player, I feel like there's quite a bit missing from this game to make it worth it. You need 2 DLCs to play more campaigns, which just felt odd to me that they would show it in available campaigns from the menu, but you'd have to own them to actually play. I'm sure that there's a ton of replayability here, especially if you're really into min-maxing or playing multiplayer. But as someone who is just simply beating games in their library backlog and then moving on, this felt lackluster. Game looks good enough, plays well enough; mechanics are relatively easy enough to understand and implement. I know it's a tower defense game, but because your 'towers' are units that can move, it feels a little odd to me that you can't re-place them on the grid. Maybe I'm just too used to the autobattlers of today.
klikasz se ludziki i one bijom, ale inne ludziki inaczej bijom i tez trzeba wysylac ludziki do oponenta
Save yourself the time: Don't. Things just do sort of whatever, and inconsistently. Every patch it's a race to find the FotW and exploit it. An exercise in frustration. Play it if you like games that you can't win every time you play; and where learning the systems is less important than mindlessly copying what's working for everyone else.
