About
Waves of enemies attack you and your opponents. Build defenses to survive. Send mercenaries to smash through your opponents' defenses. Scale your economy to become a late game beast. Like Chess, every match is familiar enough to reward game knowledge, but divergent enough to require adaptation.
Each match, you receive a random roll of 6 fighters, from 12 million possible combinations. Every fighter has strengths & weaknesses. Some secure strategic advantages early game, while others have powerful late-game synergies. Your skill lies in your ability to make the most of the hand you're dealt.

With 9+ years worth of data-driven, monthly balance patches, Legion TD 2 is perhaps the most balanced competitive game in the world. Rather than introduce disruptive changes every year to shake things up, Legion TD 2 has opted to chase perfecting a healthy meta. If you take a break for a couple years and come back, your same openings will probably still be viable.

Party as 1-8 players. Play 2v2 and 4v4 matchmade games.
Single-player/co-op campaign.* ~8-12 hours, plus 10 levels of AI's.
Active playerbase. Fast, fair matches since 2017. Still going strong in 2026.
One of a kind gameplay. The only standalone team vs. team competitive tower defense.
Fun to learn. Dynamic in-game tips and special new-player matchmaking ease you in.
Packed with stats. Winrates, pickrates, match histories, leaderboards, top games, and more.
Global servers. All multiplayer is cross-region, hosted on our servers.
No pay to win. In-game purchases are 100% cosmetic.
Behavior system. AFKers, griefers, and toxic players are dealt with quickly.
Monthly tournament. $1,000 in prizes every month, hosted on Twitch.
Weekly challenges. A puzzle-like competition to find the best build with a set lineup.
*Note: single-player features require an online connection due to technical limitations of the game engine.
Legion TD 2 is the sequel to the 2nd most popular Warcraft 3 mod of all time, Legion TD. Also known as Squadron TD in Starcraft 2. The top 5 most played Warcraft 3 mods are DotA, Legion TD, Wintermaul, Footmen Frenzy, and Life of a Peasant. Legion TD is proud to hold the silver medal.

Legion TD 2 launched in early access in 2017, and has received major updates, quality of life, and balance changes every single month since then. After fully launching in October 2021, we believe it has grown to become the most replayable, balanced, competitive strategy experience out there. Unlike other indie multiplayer games, Legion TD 2's playerbase has stood the test of time, having been active & steady for nearly 10 years and counting.

Great TW game. Hard to believe a WC3 mod is still going and this stable and balanced.
I remember playing a good bit back in my Wc3 days. This sequel certainly takes everything to the next level and is very good solo or with friends. Monthly updates and additions keep the game interesting and the meta constantly evolving. 10/10.

Карта из ВК 3. Один из первых Автобаттлеров. А знаете что приятного в Legion TD 2? Она, чёрт возьми, поддерживается. Она живёт. И это классно.
güzel gibi duruyo tam anlamadım ama
Didn't feel new player friendly
If I could give this a half-way "meh" I would do that. It just didn't seem very new player friendly to me. Lots of basic things you need to waste time looking up or going into sandbox just to figure out. Simple things like unit placements to properly split enemy groups. How many tiles does this unit need to be from this unit? Why can't the game have a ghost mode to show you how your placement will split the enemies in game and in real-time instead of having to jump around sandbox, Reddit, and YouTube. Some of the campaign missions appear to completely miss the mark on what it means to communicate to a new player. One missions at 1 star says something like "your opponent likes to build lots of workers and always gets away with it, punish him early" ok, HOW? For the first few turns, I have enough to send a snail or two. You're not teaching me HOW to punish a player early that builds lots of workers. Also, how would I even know when a player is building lots of workers early outside the campaign telling me? As a new player, it feels like you're instructing me to swim across the bay but you're not teaching me HOW to swim. Other things too, like tying to get information on the state of the match is buried behind these convoluted popup boxes and keyboard commands you have to open/close and drag around. Why not just have one simple box that lists the players, their mastermind, their score, their income, their layout when pointing at their name, etc... instead of being 5 different boxes and holding down tab+space? Some game information is sent to the chatbox, other information is located in popup boxes, and some is located behind keyboard commands. Why? The premise is cool, there are lots of units and they are varied. The game ran great with no technical problems. The base price was cheap on sale. It just feels like a game that requires weeks of homework and study before you can even begin to fully understand it. You WILL need to memorize units, which ones give buffs, placements, waves, etc... especially in player matches where you will be under a strict time limit. This is a game that will require you to devote a lot of time into it, a LOT. If you do put the time in to learn it, it does look like it can be fun and strategic.
It’s a great game for casual players as well as hardcore gamers. I don’t need to play every day or even every month to be able to return and have a great fun time :)
nostalgic with toxic community
Prev Autobattler xp: TFT Dota autochess I got recommended this game and its incredible - I like how there is a little to no RNG compared to TFT. Very cool, competitive, NO BS autobattler. After 200 hours, and many thousand hours in competitive games, this game does not feel very developed of a playerbase, and anyone willing to sink a good amount of hours in and focus up can have a lot of fun on the ladder.
