Let me briefly share this game is a masterpiece! Gameplay, story, puzzle - I have enjoyed each of them and really recommend this game. Creator have managed to put adventure and curiosity to a closed space where an enemy may await you after each corner 100 out of 10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Legend of Grimrock is a fantastic game that isn't what it looks like on the tin. This is a combination of a grid action game with Sierra Entertainment esq puzzles and cooldown based dice roll attacks. That is to say, do NOT buy this if you want a turn-based rpg, as the game requires constant real-time positioning that can be fiddley at first, but extremely rewarding to master. Also, don't get it if you can't stand "whiffing" an attack or are expecting a straight up action rpg like Oblivion. That being said, this was absolutely a hoot I couldn't put down. I bought this game back closer to when it came out and picked it up again on a whim in 2026. The puzzles are rewarding (mostly), the combat gets addictive, and character progression seems impactful. There are some later puzzles that I did need to look up as they relied too heavily on "guess which random item in your inventory the developer meant with this super vague clue". There also is some Sierra BS with needing a specific item from much earlier in the dungeon to solve a riddle, and I would highly recommend reading the "Before I Play" https://beforeiplay.com/wiki/Legend_of_Grimrock on this. Overall though, solid 9/10 that I binge played happily, and will be buying the second. If you like odder old-school indies, give this a shot!
I bought the game in 2012 and loved it... but for some reason didn't comment. Now it's 2026 and I felt like giving it a go, for nostalgia sake I suppose... and it's still great! Plus I love cello, so the music is... mwah! <3
Exactly as long as it should be. Long enough to get settled into the mechanics, but not long enough for the simple and clean gameplay to get old or frustrating. Progression curve ramps perfectly from start to finish.

It was really fun. I wanted to play this before Legend of Grimrock 2. I wish the EXP levelled up faster, I was 1 skill point away from the super epic mace attack on my minotaur guy, and my disappointment is hard to measure. The puzzle aspect stood out to me, and so did the funny enemies, they were neat, and fun to dance with and occasionally smack. I missed like 2 wall buttons on my own overall, that was mildly like agh, drats! but I don't feel too bad. I really liked that four part riddle puzzle, and the decapitated one. Honestly though when I play Grimrock 2 it will be a breath of fresh air, because literally you go outside in that game. I liked that there's a level editor in this game, I didn't use it but I like that it is there. So yeah good time, usually I'm bummed I spent ages on a game that was mostly sort of similar contents wise but here actually I was only mildly wearing down at the end which is very good they definitely did something right okay bye!! *edit oh yeah, I'm also a huge fan of the extras, I love the grid paper, and the world map, and the team photo is wholesome. And the concept art stuff is great too, love that kind of stuff, makes me happy to see.
