Really fun Dungeon Crawler + RPG (eh, not sure on the second one but reminds me somewhat of A-RPGs but it's not quite there). While some people call the combat cheesable or simplistic, I liked it. The game has lots of puzzles and secrets as well, which I love. The total atmosphere feels great in this one. The only real design decision I don't like is that there's an achievement for getting all secrets. Some of them are in an area you can't freely enter and return to, and I've played the game a few times but still not gotten all somehow even though I inspected every corner. Also be warned, you will spend a lot of the game looking at walls to spot hidden buttons.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great fun
A great take on the Dungeon Master game from the Amiga. Highly recommended.
Summary: finished playthrough with most secrets found (30h) ▶️ Legend of Grimrock features old-school "tile movement" dungeon crawler gameplay where you spend the whole game traversing through a dungeon fighting enemies, solving secrets and puzzles and finding loot. It has great atmosphere, though story telling is kept more basic and through finding notes etc. Pros: ✅️ mysterious story, but basic with relatively few occurences ✅️ dark, gritty atomsphere ✅️ cool theme music ✅️ excellent map design with a lot of secret ways and optional areas ✅️ secrets are very rewarding with loot and supplies ✅️ loot and supplies feel relatively rare and as if they really matter (depending on difficulty) ✅️ medium and hard feel actually challenging even with good equip ✅️ various character and build options Cons: ❌️ no quickslots, which makes using potions and bombs finnicky (would have liked some kind of belt slots similar to the diablo games) ❌️ tedious inventory management ❌️ a few secrets leave you with little to no hint on where to continue (which can become frustrating) ❌️ ailments like poison a bit weak, therefore potions may not feel as relevant ❌️ no narrator. Although this doesn't hurt the games quality much, it would have been nice to have a few voice lines and a bit of narration for the few story sequences Verdict: 8/10 (great) ✳️ would recommend if you can sympathize with the old-school "dancy" gameplay
Nice game in the spirit of EOB.
Si
Exactly as long as it should be. Long enough to get settled into the mechanics, but not long enough for the simple and clean gameplay to get old or frustrating. Progression curve ramps perfectly from start to finish.
I bought the game in 2012 and loved it... but for some reason didn't comment. Now it's 2026 and I felt like giving it a go, for nostalgia sake I suppose... and it's still great! Plus I love cello, so the music is... mwah! <3
