Children are disappearing in a remote village. You are sent to see if you can find the cause. And try to solve it before the Red Moon rises. Dark magicks get quite strong when that happens… Plot is decent, HO scenes are fun, minigames amusing, and the art is beautiful. Recommend getting it in the League bundle.
This game impressed me more and more as it went on. There was a minor graphics glitch for me in one scene early on, which worried me, and I wasn't sold on the style at first; however, the glitch didn't affect the game at all, and the art, puzzles, and HO scenes turned out to be excellent. This second entry in the League of Light series has a distinctly Halloween-y feel, with witches, scarecrows, and a full moon rising. Pros: - excellent art - nice variety of puzzles and HO scenes - customizable difficulty settings - fully interactive map - better-than-usual story - good bonus chapter - second, small-but-enjoyable bonus chapter that fully rounds out the plot Cons: - I had an issue where my screen would flicker (like a refresh) in one particular area early in the game; it wasn't wholly resolved by using Windows compatibility mode (for Windows 8, in my case), but it didn't affect the game, and didn't show up anywhere else - no Steam achievements or trading cards (but the in-game achievements were interesting) Overall: Highly recommended. Most of the puzzles are easy/medium, but there are a few challenges. In the end, I found this game more immersive than many HOPA games. I would wait for a sale or at least buy in the bundle, but that's not a reflection on the quality of the game.
Great game. Love it
Best league of light game so far
There is a weird scarecrow child that you are constantly equipping with tools to do your dirty work through the game which is pretty cool. The cutscene quality is good and the HO scenes and puzzle are enjoyable and straightforward. This game has two bonus stories which is unusual but the last one is more a short arc following a series of puzzles, I had a good time with these!
( I only have one complaint about this game. In the main game the active areas are not highlighted on the map. But are in the bonus game. As a result, I was pretty reliant on the hint button more than I like.) Okay, first of all the baby scare crow was SO cute. I loved him! I really loved this game. The puzzles are good, easy to medium. The game is generous with plenty of HOPA scenes, which was a really nice touch. It really had a great story that had more thought into than most HOPAs. Graphics are gorgeous. Other than the map, I have no complaints.
Herrlich schönes Wimmelbildspiel.
