So this is what it feels like playing support in a raid group!
This game is stupidly hard, it's just one room over and over and it's impossible, out of all the eTIRUe this is the worst it's not fun it's just ass, story mode is doable but challenge mode 1 is impossible I've spend 10 hours just in it and it's just there is no way to beat it Just don't buy this one, buy Wolf Mate or Abyss School instead cuz they are actually really good games, this one just isn't worth the money
Somewhat unique type of tower defense game with little story and a whole lot of breasts. It's jank, it's cheap, it's something you might want to try if you have been browsing "Steam's Discovery Queue" tirelessly for a different kind of game. First off there are no "towers" in this game, only a statue acting as your "core". In game you play as a priestess named Claire. She can summon variety of troops (majority of them voluptuous) into the battlefield. Claire can also heal the troops, buff them and level up their stats as well as buy equipment. Story mode consists of you surviving 30 minutes of undead waves with boss at end, which might take you more than a few tries as you need to unlock better troops, items, level up passive perks, craft runes, etc. After you beat story you will unlock challenges, those are endless waves where you need to survive until boss, after which you basically unlock the variant of that boss as your own unit to buy. There are some sketch drawings with lore also. Visually it's decently cobbled up game made in Unreal Engine. There are 3 levels for each type of challenge map. Game has a somewhat stylized anime look and heroines / bosses / troops with exaggerated curves which isn't bad per se. Controls are bare bones but you don't need to move whole lot anyway. Game runs well, takes few GB's of storage. The whole gameplay loop might be dull until you farm up currency and unlock all the important perks, troops and items. There's a little gallery where you can look at troops up close, as well as variety of outfits for Clair you can buy. For 4 euro I spent on it I got twice as much in hours of fun, so worth it. If you struggle at a particular challenge you can always find saves with everything unlocked. Try it out for an hour, see if it's something you like.

Awful tower defense way to grindy half the stats feel like they do nothing and tying the fun units behind this stupid finish the story ♥♥♥♥.
Last Saintess is an indie strategy title developed and published by eTIRUe that blends traditional tower defense design with character-focused progression and light simulation elements. Set in a somber fantasy world threatened by endless undead hordes, the game frames its mechanics through a narrative lens centered on Claire, the final surviving saintess of a fallen temple. Rather than presenting a purely abstract defense challenge, it grounds its systems in a story about desperation, faith, and endurance, giving emotional context to the constant cycle of preparation and survival. At its core, Last Saintess revolves around defending a sacred sanctuary from waves of undead enemies that grow steadily stronger and more varied over time. The player’s primary resource is holy power, which is generated and managed to summon soldiers, reinforce defensive lines, and activate abilities that stem the tide of attackers. Unlike many tower defense games that rely heavily on fixed turret placement, this game emphasizes unit summoning and positioning, requiring players to think dynamically about how their forces interact with enemy paths and pressure points. Poor planning or mistimed deployment can quickly lead to a collapse, creating a steady sense of tension throughout each encounter. The strategic depth emerges from how the game layers its systems. Choosing which soldiers to summon, when to upgrade defenses, and how to allocate limited resources becomes increasingly important as enemy types diversify. Some foes overwhelm with numbers, while others demand specific counters or careful timing to defeat efficiently. This pushes players to adapt rather than rely on a single dominant strategy, especially in later stages where mistakes are punished more harshly. The pacing strikes a balance between giving players time to plan and forcing quick decisions under pressure, making each wave feel purposeful rather than routine. Beyond the main campaign, Last Saintess offers additional modes that extend replayability, most notably an endless-style mode where survival becomes the sole objective. In these scenarios, the challenge escalates relentlessly, encouraging experimentation with different builds, soldier combinations, and upgrade paths. Over time, updates have expanded these modes with new maps, artifacts, and mechanics that deepen the strategic options available. These additions help keep the experience fresh and demonstrate an ongoing effort by the developer to refine and expand the game beyond its initial release. Visually, the game adopts a simple but effective 3D presentation paired with anime-inspired character designs. The undead enemies contrast sharply with the warm glow of holy effects and summoned allies, reinforcing the thematic clash between corruption and faith. While the graphics are not technically ambitious, they are clear and readable, which is crucial for a strategy game where quick recognition of threats matters. Interface clarity can occasionally be an issue, particularly with smaller text or icons, but the overall presentation supports the gameplay without unnecessary visual clutter. Claire herself plays an important role beyond narrative framing. Her presence ties progression systems together, as improvements to her abilities directly affect how efficiently holy power is generated and how effectively defenses can be deployed. This gives the game a light management layer that complements the tower defense mechanics, making long-term planning feel meaningful across multiple sessions. While the story itself is relatively understated and delivered in small pieces, it succeeds in establishing atmosphere and motivation without overwhelming the player with exposition. Despite its strengths, Last Saintess does have limitations that may affect certain players. Difficulty spikes can feel abrupt, especially when transitioning between enemy tiers, and some balance issues may require trial and error to overcome. Players looking for highly complex or deeply customizable tower defense systems may find the mechanics more focused than expansive. Still, these constraints are part of the game’s identity, favoring clarity and tension over excessive complexity. Overall, Last Saintess stands out as a focused and atmospheric tower defense experience that combines strategic decision-making with character-driven progression. Its emphasis on unit summoning, resource management, and steady escalation creates a satisfying loop for players who enjoy defending against overwhelming odds. While not without rough edges, it offers a distinctive take on the genre, delivering a thoughtful blend of challenge, theme, and replayability that rewards patience and strategic thinking within its dark fantasy setting.
