Game runs good, looks great, and provides a step in complexity in-between POE and Diablo, but that's where my positives end. - The game is insanely buggy, to the point where some skills straight up don't even work. - Controller support has not gotten like any updates in 3 years and menus are practically unusable with one. - The story sucks and is incomplete. - Only the main story characters are voiced and some other random things very early on. - Less actual build variety than it initially appears. - Loot filters don't work correctly. - Crafting is very restricted and SUPER rng. - Respecing is atrocious. - Game is incredibly grindy thanks to multiple layers of rng that can instantly brick your item.

i really wanted to like this game but after all this time its soooooooo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buggy and unpolished
Liars.
Badge about optimized for steamdeck is lie.
the classes should be free
I can't recommend this game in its current state. For me it is the itemization. Arpgs are all about the grind for sure but this is too much. This was a better game so I have +1000 hours in it. So many layers of itemization and it's not fun when you grind like it's your job and not getting a single upgrade. This problem strated with the patch with the primal stuff and it got worse with the corruption system. At this point I can't take it anymore.
Promising game with boring campaign, good endgame and many flaws. After 2 years and 3 seasons i would expect a bit more than week of playing every season. Season 3 boring as hell - corruption mainly for late game with crappy bonuses, time fragments worthless, echo chains boring, servers working soo slow. Skill system praised by many in my opinion is crap - to many options too early, respecing and gaining new exp is waste of time. Game terribly explains itself - especially lacks stats on skills eg. crit chances. Skills triggers other skills and the next - it's hard to know what is actually better. Prophecies are good and fun idea, but later it gets way too long rerolling and finding ones you look for. Farming memory amber, bones is boring - same locations all over again. Weaver faction memory amber requirements needs rebalancing - too much grind. Game lacks in combat weight feeling. Items on character and mobs looks crappy, boring skills. Game still has stupid QOL problems: - you open inventory, and then shop, inventory will close - opening shop in endgame takes 2 clicks, why there is even option to speak? - why there is no respec guy in every timeline? - why clicking on map right button takes you to selected map, but clicking right in faction "Go to observatory" not? - replacing item +skill with the same item respecs randomly skill points, and you have to remember to distribute them again - it's SO frustrating To all that, devs promised all content free and now wants money for future classes - liars. Good things: - great loot filter - fun idols system - lots of stash space
Went from one of the most promising ARPGs to just giving up and selling.
I remember when the developers originally promised that all future expansions and character classes would be completely free for everyone. Then, I saw the announcement of the Orbus expansion, where they introduced paid paradox classes, which completely shocked me. As a long-time fan, I feel deeply betrayed by this sudden shift toward aggressive monetization. I found out that Eleventh Hour Games sold the game to publisher Krafton for a staggering ninety-six million dollars. Now, I heavily fear that a massive corporation will prioritize profits over the original creative vision that I loved. Seeing statements from Krafton about utilizing artificial intelligence makes me worry even more about the future quality of the game. On top of that, I experienced their customer support incompetence firsthand when I received a random ban. I wasn't even active during that specific season, yet they banned me anyway and refused to tell me why, claiming the ban was "proven."After a week of back-and-forth, they finally apologized and unbanned me, which just showed me incompetence at its finest. I am also frustrated that many technical glitches, which have existed for years, are still not fixed in the live version. To me, the core campaign still feels incomplete, and the overall class balancing needs major work. I firmly believe the team should fix the base game before trying to sell new expansions to the players.
