Laika's Space Defence

Pretty good little game to fill up time. Like the idea, the little intro cinematic was pretty nice. I see myself playing this every once in a while. The only thing I hope is that they maybe add an unlimited mode where you can upgrade stuff like fire rate and damage perpetually. (Pretty Please 👉👈) I'm definitely going to be grinding to get to 1 billion points on that leaderboard. Dog review below (I have two dogs, so I can confirm this is a correct translation). (Bork! Bark! Laika's Space Defence is a tasty little snack of a game that feels like it could have easily lived along side Asteroids and Missile Command, though Laika's Space Defence doesn't really get hard until level 50 where it gets *bonkers* Most of the unlocks are achievable in two play throughs, which are brains-off-zone-out goodness, but after those two runs it's all down to wanting to get on the leaderboards, a race that doesn't really happen until 20/30 minutes into the gameplay. For the price this is a slam dunk, really impressive first release for Para Fauna

Very fun little game to play every now and then and try to beat other people’s scores. I really like the small intro cutscene before playing the game. I hope we get more upgrades and more types of enemies in the future. It costs less than a coffee and gives you a lot of fun, so don’t doubt it and give it a try :)

Remember that everyday we spend on this beautiful blue earth is all thanks to the bravest strongest pup, Laika, protecting us from those pesky aliens and asteroids. Was a wonderful short and satisfying experience that I really can't wait to see more of in the future. The visuals were extremely charming and the sound effects + music made it such a blast to play. Sat down to listen to a podcast as I blasted everything on screen :D

Fun little arcade game, starts a little to easy, but damn, that is a cute dog...

A short but sweet game about defending the planet. I'm glad Laika is finally getting the recognition she deserves for her valiant efforts during the space defence missions.

Can't go wrong for this price: + It's a game about a dog in space. + The player feedback is satisfying. + You can even switch between controller and mouse mid play. - The difficulty curve is quite slow mid game and then ramps up quite fast all of a sudden.
