Buen matamarcianos, me trae grandes recuerdos de cuando jugaba a commodore 64.
好怀念的感觉,小时候玩过和这个类似的FC游戏,叫什么名字忘了。
Offendron Warrior is a nice throwback to old shooter games from the 80s, with beautiful graphics, sound and presentation. But in the end, it doesn't add up. Here are my thoughts: --------- PROS --------- - Fantastic old school graphics - Great idea - Excellent presentation - Awesome that you can shift between two forms to suit your needs - I really dig the laser color in this game. Seriously. - You can set how many lives you have from the start. --------- CONS --------- - The game is TOO FAST. WAY TOO FAST. Despite that you got two forms you won't be able to maneuver through enemy fire. - Enemy attack pattern always attack at your weakest angles, and in such speed that you can't outrun or defend yourself from them. - You will die. A lot. And way too quickly to make this game any fun at all. - Too many enemies can spawn at once, and even though you do have a bomb to wipe out everything on screen, there are enemies that will burst into tiny pieces upon death, which home at you with great speed. Escape is near impossible. - Due to such extremly fast pace, it is veeeery hard saving the inhabitants - if not impossible at moments. - No matter the amount of lives you select at game start, they won't help you even a bit. They only slightly delay the inevitable: you are made to lose, no matter what. - The game is TOO FAST. OVERALL SCORE: 5/10 An excellent idea with great presentation which is absolutely destroyed and devastated by the shere difficulty of playing it. You can't escape, despite your two forms... Your weapons are useless and fail you, as even in death some opponents will home in on you in such speed you can't escape. And you die. You're simply not equipped for the missions ahead, Attacks occur so quick you can't defend citizens, or yourself. I've always concidered good games to be ones you can have fun with. This is not one of them. My recommendation? Stay away. Either until a sequel comes which improves upon original design, or a patch that fixes all of this. But it is unlikely.
Awesome Game
+1 Coin-Op
Offendron Warrior is a donationware 2D retro pixel ripoff of 1981's "Defender" arcade game from Williams Electronics. Gameplay consists of basic side scrolling shoot 'em up arcade action and use of smart missiles to kill enemies. The game was slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. In this case, Defender itself is free to play on the web, for example. Like most GameMaker Studio construction kit "games", this features lazy 2D retro pixel "art", instead of professionally done, contemporary PC graphics. Controls and resolution are locked, which pushes this below acceptable standards for PC. Going some way to excuse the poor quality of the game, the developer made this free to download but they have an expectation that players will provide them a financial donation. through the "Steam Edition" of the game.
This is a fantastic Defender clone that expands on the original gameplay in meaningful ways. You can transform your ship into a slower but more powerful warrior mode, adding a strategic layer to combat. The variety of enemy types keeps things fresh and challenging. One of the best features is the ability to adjust game speed, allowing players to tailor the experience to their skill level.
A very well programed littie game 10/10 would play again
