Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 16 → 0.75/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Top-down Hotline Miami-like. Brutal, stylish gameplay which will keep you coming back, time and time again, trying to perfectly master your way through rooms filled with different enemy types using a barrage of move sets and weapons. An excellent skill-set and weapon upgrade path letting you design your kit to best suit your play style. Kusan not only looks incredible, but has one of this years best video game soundtracks. I'm really enjoying my time with the game so far and although it can be brutally punishing at times, you will keep on hitting retry... just one more time. Great value game, well worth a sniff.
Absolutely blown away! I've been following this project for a while, and it was worth the wait! The gameplay feels like a natural evolution of games that continue Hotline Miami's legacy, such as OTXO and Hong Kong Massacre. The art, story, characters, and level designs were also top-notch! I especially love the pixel art and level layout, nothing is out of view or visually cluttered. Everyone who worked on this game should be proud of themselves! What a triumph!

game is well paced, doesnt overstay its welcome and the mechanics you can really sink your teeth into. that being said, introducing 4 new combat mechanics (6 if you depending on how you define 'new') in the final fight of the game was a lot (considering everything kills you in one hit). i can see a lot of people bumping into that then realizing if they want to come back later they have to beat two floor plus the previous phase of the boss fight because there is no mid level progress save (it does save your score after every fight, just not progress) i can see some people getting phased out. still have no idea what the yellow orbs even do... i just parried my way to victory
Just excellent. Unashamedly Hotline Miami inspired while still very much being its own thing. Gameplay is a little more reactive than active as you make your way through levels using multiple weapons to deal with multiple enemy types, requiring split-second decisions to avoid getting splattered. But the result of this is an experience that makes you feel like an absolute badass when the dust settles and you're the only one left standing. Like Hotline Miami, you die A LOT. But also like Hotline Miami you respawn instantly just eager to try again. Story is nothing remarkable but isn't bad. It's not what you're here for and the game knows that; so the plot is a pretty straightforward 90s anime/JRPG type plot that feels pleasantly familiar. KILLER soundtrack. Extremely stylish lo-fi hip hop beats with a lot of old kung fu movie flavor mixed in, and a couple of more intense electronic selections for big moments like boss fights. I actually wish the OST would get a standalone release. I'd say Kusan is a must-play if you're a fan of the Hotline Miami games; it's one of very few games since then that really scratches the same itch. My only complaints are that it's not longer, and that the soundtrack isn't streaming anywhere.
